Chapter 13

IXORA P.O.V

After that day, I couldn't wait to get up and start my day. Leah didn't have a problem waking me up cause most of the timeI'dbe up already. I'd run to the toilet and make sure I'd have a proper shower not the usual 5 minute run ins, but 10 minutes of making sure I smell nice. After the first day, and after the interrogation by Leah and the rest, he texted me goodnight.

The following day, he texted me he was on the way to my place. Since he always got me food, I decided to make him a PB&J sandwich. He was actually really happy that I did. It was pretty much the same as the first day. On the third day, we started texting more often. After he dropped me off at work, while I was on my break and of course I enjoyed it.

ON Thursday, it was the same as the day before. The only difference was after our usual 2 hour talk in his car,and after I had finished my shower, he called me.We talked for hours and hours until we realized there was only 2 hours left till we really had to get up so we went to bed. When I woke up, I didn't feel tired at all. He called me just as I was stepping into the shower.

"Morning Sunshine." he said with his sleepy voice all low and grumbly. A shiver ran down my spine just imagining him all under his blanket shirtless,his hair ruffled up begging me to run my fingers through it.

"Mmmm morning to you to. But it''s not exactly sunny is it?" I giggled.

"Well, if you didn't know, you're my sunshine even though it's all cold and snowy outside." I nearly fell to the ground from what he had said cause I found it too darn sweet.

"Get your lazy butt up. We gotta get to work!" i told him. Then I realized that the only reason he wakes up early is cause he takes me to work.Shit, I felt damn guilty.

"Actually Mark, you just stay in bed today.I'll get a cab." I mean it was not like we were together or anything right? I didn't want him thinking that I was just using him.

"Hey hey hey. Calm down. You know what?" he said

"What?"

"I've never been happier getting up in the morning." he said quietly.

"Good. I thought I was the only one." I replied him.

As I put on my clothes, I coudn't help but wonder if things were actually turning out good. I mean it's shocking that he's even paid attention to me this long. He switches girls every day. I was deep in thought and Leah said "Honey, you're going to finish the whole tub of peanut butter if you don't pay attention to what you're doing."

"Huh what? Oh right. Sorry. Just got caught up in my thoughts." I hadn't even realized that I was in the kitchen slapping to pieces of bread with peanut butter for Mark.

"Calm your tits bitch. I know that look anywhere and it screams I'm over thinking the whole situation." she said.

"I'm sorry I've been ditching you the past mornings. We are still on today right for your car hunt?" I asked her.

"It's fine really. Tom actually has been doing the same thing but we walk together to work since he's place is near mine. Yes we are. You can't leave me this time. Come back here and we will take a cab to the show room." she told me in a pleading voice.

"Don't worry, a promise is a promise and you're still my best friend remember?" I gave her a hug and headed downstairs after he texted me that he was there already waiting for me. The weather today was really chilly but there was still sun which made the day look like it was going to be a good day. He wasn't in his working clothes but in his tracks and a fitted Nike top which was a dark green colour. Let's just say I could see that his body was VERY very nice.
