A month had already passed by and we were technically together. I mean he still hadn't asked me yet.. to like get with him but I felt that we already were. He was busier than ever though. He was constantly roaming the country interviewing sports people and I was here like a love sick puppy waiting for him. But I never let my emtions run that loose. A girl has to have some ego left in her too.
I used his car to get to work when he wasn't around and Leah was still moping about her leaving. Believe it or not, Miss I'm so awesome in relationships has yet to tell Tom that's she's leaving in two weeks. She says that she doesn't care about him but yet she cries like a baby when I approach the subject.
So I decided to let it be. Back to my dream man. There I was waiting for him to get back from his most recent trip. I made dinner and waited. And waited, and you guessed, waited. It was already midnight and there was no sign of him. His phone went straight to voicemail. Eventually, I fell asleep on the couch waiting for him and still no show.
He had gone away to New Orleans for some interview thing and was supposed to be back today for dinner. I grew tired and went into the living room and without realising it, I fell asleep.
I switched on the news the next morning and stretched. I went into the kitchen and threw the food away and fixed myself a pot of coffee.
It's been confirmed that Mark Azaria has signed with the New York Giants. He was rumored to join the New Orlean Saints but apparently the Giants struck a better deal. Looks like the NFL just got a lot more interesting.
My heart dropped when I heard that. I ran to the tv room and stared at him. Mark was busy giving interviews with everyone. I felt tears threatening to spill because at the corner of the screen, were the words LIVE. Which meant he was here for more than a few days. He lied to me.
Before I knew it, I threw my cup at the wall.
It shattered to pieces. Just like my heart right now.
