I've reached college at 8:30 AM sharp and was astonished to see more than half the college already waiting for an interview with their resume, girls look like a total make up cakes.All I could think of at the moment was that really?Do you think your attire could get you this job?You had to look professional not like you were experimenting with whose make up wins the first prize. With all that make up and designer short dresses like you are posing for a magazine.

I just went and sat in the queue waiting for my turn. I knew it'd be late since there are 400+ sitting there and I came at last. Not my fault! How would I know that they would all end up coming here like they've all got this job. I was just about to call Kate for an advice on how to introduce myself when I hear my name being called out first. I was dumbfounded and couldn't hide the embarrassment I had when one of the men called me and everyone looked at me like I've just done something to be called in first. I take a deep breath and walk inside the room ignoring everyone's envied stares.

Hello Ms.Wittson.

Goo--Good morning sir I stuttered. He looked at me like he understood my discomfort and offered me a glass of water. I apologized for being clumsy and asked him to start the interview. He asked me a few questions about why this company. He asked me why would I want to get into this company when I have done MBA in Business intelligence. I've given a genuine answer's of how it has been my dream to be a part of this since it started and how I'd like to contribute to helping develop it further more. He smiled and put a few papers in front of me. I first frowned, then gasped and then blinked. I was being offered the role of a Personal assistant and that too for Krish Sinha! I was overwhelmed and when I was reading the clauses and looked at him all he said was..
1.Nobody will ask you to leave.
2. All i ask you is to never quit this job.
3. Well, I think it covers the first two clauses I've just answered.

I smiled gladly and then turn the page to see my pay...i was awestruck! He was offering me a 40k CA$. Am a damn fresher and the max that the college freshers have been hired for was 20kCA$! I looked at him with a question and couldn't find words to question him!!

He just smiled and congratulated me and walked out of the room. By the time I could digest the news and walk out of the room, everyone was giving me deathly glares but Nathan came back and announced that he has checked everyone's profile even before coming for an interview and had found only one eligible, I mouthed him a secret thank you for saving me from the trouble and he walked me out and gave me two keys.

He said 4 things.

1.One of it is the key for your new Volvo car. Its a welcome gift from me.
2.These are the keys of your new house, considering you are a girl and that you shouldn't be travelling alone for longer I've taken this.
3. I've done everything possible to help your travelling easier.
4.Never and I mean NEVER be late to work. Krish does not take it.

I had jitters all over, and i was about to decline his offer for the house and car when he asked me to keep quiet and said treat this as a gift from your brother. He gave me his card and asked me to contact him for anything. I felt weird it's just a meet or two and he calls himself my brother. But I thought I would soon pay him back for both the car and house once I joined office.

I went back home and immediately called Kate to let her know that i've got the job and heard her sobbing. I was alert and quickly asked her if she was doing okay and she said yea. I sensed she is lying and probed further and she said its just the harmones. Since she is expecting a baby now she is feeling out of the place. Not fully convinced but also understanding that she is right, i let go. But i wanted to check on her. So i asked her if she was free for a party. I don't have anyone with me, its just her that i have had. She is the only person i call family and who better to celebrate with than her. She hummed in response and then said she cannot drink. We both burst out laughing and i assured her I'd drink her fill too since i didn't want the drinks to feel bad that she ain't having the same fun. She agreed we'd meet over the weekend. We spoke for a little more while and her mood picked up. We then bid eachother goodnight and went to sleep.
