First day

Krish P.O.V:

I have come to office at 8:00AM,its actually an hour earlier than the usual time.I wanted to come early so I can pile the work..I wanted to have as many files on my table as in the dump room.I wanted to test this girl.Kaira Wittson Moore...
She was going to be here at 10:00AM, a minute late and am sure going to fire her.

I slowly started seeing my employees walk in from 8:45 AM..I was impressed that all the men came before time and that's why I put my trust in them.But I saw a man walk in his casuals..I was first furious to immediately fire and then I see it is Nathan..Why would he walk in this early?This isn't even his wake up time!No wonder he is come here in his casuals in a hurry..It's very unlikely of him to log in this early and I see him hurriedly pressing buttons on his phone.I saw him have a serious talk and suddenly his face had a smile and he turned around.I would've wondered what could make my pal smile so wide and then the realisation hit me..It could be her. May be she was here and he was going to pick her from the parking lot. I was growing furious over his over enthusiasm about this new hire. But I let that slide and moved to my cabin to check the papers I would throw for work.

Good!879 files to be reviewed and 426 accounts to be tallied to approve my partnership with them.As of now it was just 10 employees under me here at Canada and these employees have been moved from my head office until I find the locals.

I heard a knock on my door at 10:00 AM I was both shocked and impressed that a woman could make it on time.Come in!I shouted

I saw Nathan come in..I looked at him with a question on my face..

I have asked her to settle in the room beside you and have asked her to not interrupt you for anything.Informed her that you would ensure the files would be sent to her cabin and that she would be briefed about her job in the email.Considered this would be great since you do not like women around you..He said it all in one breath and huffed.

I raised an eyebrow...That wasn't something I expected him to do.But was glad he did it anyways since I'm in no interest for this woman.I just dialled the number and was waiting for her to pick the call..She answered it in the second ring.

Y.O.U.R.U.N.W.A.N.T.E.D he spelled each letter with such depth in it..It made me nervous..But at the same time his deep husky voice made my hands tremble. He was making me desperate to find him..I wanted to know this man, but before my trail of thoughts went further he said-I give you 20mints to login,reset,clear your emails, finish your training docs and respond to my email so I can give you work.

My eyes popped out. Are you kidding me!Finish all of this in 20minutes?I wanted to look at his face and ask him to show- how to do it, but I chose to stay mum because if I want to keep this job I better hold my temper..

I logged in and cleared all unwanted emails and was in the middle of my training video when my phone decided cry again.I answered knowing who could it be and before I said something he said the unexpected..
I know you cannot do it right away!Leave that aside and do it when you are free, as of now get to job and send someone over to collect the files in my room am sending you 426 accounts to be tallied so I can finalise my partnership with the top 2. I want that done by EOD and I want a detailed report of every company..Clear?
Ye--yes sir! I said startled with the load of work on day 1.

Before I ended the call I saw someone walk-in with the bundles of files in their hand..After they put them down I saw it was Nathan and hid my frustration to ensure him I'd be fine.He just gave me a smile and sat down with me stating-I knew this would be the first thing on his mind..Don't worry I've got this covered I know which company does what..You have the briefs mentioned on the first page of every file and you could just go through and finalise them in 4-5hours..Relax and take it easy..Remember what I said..He doesn't like woman being hired you are the first woman I've hired and he is going to put every bit of effort to push you down..It's your dream to work here and it's my dream to see him happy!So let's do it..Am right across your room..

See him happy? How is that related to me? I wondered, but put that aside when I realised I had files to look into..

On the job Kaira!On the job..I told myself and started with my work...

I have been going through the files and with the background checks I have done on companies to check which company I liked helped me understand which company we could deal with..It was difficult to make a choice but I chose Sky dreams Inc. as my place so now that I know the rest of the companies are not the top it's easy.

After 5 hours of hard work I have managed to bring the top 10 companies.Each of them had their own different special help they could give to this company so I have documented all the points for him to be able to understand the reason behind these companies being chosen. But he is the boss he can make the best choice! I finished the work and check my email box to see a mail from him asking me to drop a email once done with the work and that someone would come and pick the stuff..Why?I wanted to go and hand the papers and files myself, I wanted to explain things..How will he ever know I work good if he doesn't let me present my work!! He makes this job feel difficult on the very first day already!! I hear the phone ring and hear Nathan ask me to come for lunch, I told him I was done and informed the peon to drop the files in his room.. and walked along with Nathan.

After walking out of the room, whilst walking for lunch with Nathan I felt like someone was watching me..Just when I was about to turn around Nathan stops me and I end up tripping forward. He helps me up and apologizes and we walk to the cafeteria. I see different kinds of food! But I don't see my favorite food..There are no fries, no pizza, no Barista!Oh my god!!They live just on juice and salads! Who can live with these?

After a tiring day at office I pack everything and head home in my new car..My red Volvo roars nothing but pure elegance and what a delight it is to drive this! It feels so good to drive this lil beast..It has always been one of my favorites. But my all time favorite is a Hummer!! I await the day I can afford it and drive it!

I went home, made some blueberry pancakes while watching news! Yeah it might sound weird on why would I want to watch news instead of some music or movie channel! But that is how I have grown..With everything that happened with me,I like staying fully updated with news..I finish eating quickly and go to sleep because tomorrow I have to go to college and finish my final exam and rush to office as well!! With a tiring first day, i slip away into a world of sweet dreams and scary nightmares.
