Nathan's P.O.V:

I reached the hospital at the earliest  possible time frame considering Kaira will wreck havoc at the hospital if i don't reach on time. Though i have known her only for a little time I have assessed her enough to know that she is hot headed and does not spare anyone when it comes to her respect. As happy as I am about what Krish has done, I also am angry at him.Just why did he have to kiss her? This soon? We clearly had a discussion and he knows it's not her. Why? As always I have to go for rescuing him. Ever since she left I've been his protective cover, always covering him up and taking care of him through all of it. If I ever get my hands on that woman am surely going to kill her with my bare hands. I reached hospital and was walking towards the room to find the doctors running inside, I ran behind wondering what makes them run inside. I saw them re-arranging the cables attached to Kaira and re-dressing her bandage around the neck. Just what happened? After everything was done I got hold of the doctor and asked him about what has happened and he told me that she was getting agitated and started getting aggressive, Inspite of asking that she be kept quite and calm, she started shouting and asking to be left alone leading to her vocal tube being pressurized again. Damn it! She sure doesn't care about herself I muttered and thanked the doctor for the medical help. After they left I saw her staring at me throwing daggers.

Don't you look at me that way! I'm not responsible for all of this, you held onto his hand and stopped him from going..I..I have no idea what you both might have spoke about, that might have made him do that. Also he kissed on the forehead. Its not a blunder..it could simply mean he was being sweet and that kiss could've meant..get well soon! You see.
WHY? Her question made me think if she understood anything at all. I just said I don't know! I replied. She suddenly started getting red..it looked like all the blood in her body was travelling all the way up into her face. Okay!okay! I will talk to him..I will. All the nurses in the hospital say we were so adorable. The news headlines read- back after so many years.

I looked at her in shock..she repeated-this time with inverted commas action"Back after so many years". Kaira..i said with a drag in her name, you need to rest. When you trusted me to be your brother and believe me when i asked you to work in a company filled with men, i want you to trust me right now too. Believe me when i say that you will soon find your answers, you will soon know it all and you will be in as many questions as we are. But for now, please get well soon. Your health is of utmost importance to me, to him, to us. She seemed to calm down, but the question in her eyes was too much to handle. I excused myself saying i had to make a call and walked out of the room. I called our company's lawyer, hire a detective and i want WHO passed the images to the media and WHO gave them information about his past life- i disconnected.

Nobody knew about his past life, there is no information available for anyone and nobody who knew about them, no pictures of them together until now with Kaira. Even if they got this picture how do they know its her. My phone rang, the caller id flashed private number. I answered the phone- Protect your friend all you want, but he will know the mistake you have committed and he will never forgive you for what you have done. Tell him the truth before i spill the truth about his past for the world to laugh at him. Before i could reply they disconnected the call. Who was it? What truth are they talking about? Why are they targeting Krish if its something related to me?

Kaira's P.O.V:

I was resting when i felt the door of my room open. It was Krish..when he started getting close to me i took the opportunity to study him since i haven't really found the time to take in his features. He was tall, well built, the shirt he wore hugged his muscles showing off that he has a muscular body, his jeans..he looked every bit like a Greek god. He cleared his throat, a faint smile plastered across his face- if you are done oggling at me, tell me how are you feeling now? I tried very hard to fight the blush that threatened to spread. I'm good, thank you i said.

Good to know, thank you for saving my company. You have a sabbatical leave for a month, considering you have risked your life for my company this is the least i can do for you. Anything else that you'd like to ask me for?
Why did you kiss me?-I asked him. He was taken aback, his expression was masked, the smile suddenly gone. He put his hands in his pant and turned aside. That was a mistake Kaira, forgive me for what happened and ignore it like you've never known about it. It was in that minute that i had no control over what i was doing when you held my hand and asked me not to fire you since you've proved your loyalty. Thank you for being loyal to this company, being a woman i didn't expect you to be. Your clause are now void. We have new clause in place, you can leave the company only when you wish to.

 I was very happy at the news, no more torture, no more load sh*t of work to test my knowledge. I now am a normal employee. But i felt empty, it didn't make me feel happy on a whole, he seemed to say it all in a monotonous robotic voice. I reached for his hand, his body stiffened. I pulled him closer and looked into his eyes. I saw nothing but pain in them. So i did the first thing i thought of, i pulled him in for a hug and said- I cannot forget that kiss, maybe you could compensate for the mistake you have done by being friends with me i said. He pulled away quickly and said- I don't make friends with woman, i either make her mine for life or i don't care. With that said he walked out. I was hurt. He did not consider me worth being a friend. He said he'd only date a woman for life, does that mean he has no girl friend? Somehow the thought of him being single gave me a comfortable feeling letting me sleep through the physical pain i currently am going through.
