"I don't understand why you're making me go, Bella." Skylar sat beside her twin on her bed, her bottom lip in a permanent pout. "I don't even like the Cullens."
The said girl placed her hands on her hips, turning towards her sister with a serious bitch face on. "They are throwing a party for the both of us. Believe it or not, they care about you too and want to see you graduate."
"I don't believe it."
Bella sighed, shaking her head. "I'm not going to win on this. I know you don't want to go, but please do... for me."
Groaning, Skylar threw herself back on the bed. "What's up with the guilt trip thing, Bells. Not cool at all."
"I'm taking that as a yes, so you have a few days to find an outfit. Tick tock." She gave Skylar one last stare before walking over to her closet and grabbing a jacket. "Anyways, I'm going to Jake's place. Wanna come?"
"Ehh, I don't know. Paul's been kind of busy with patrolling so I'd thought I would just stick around her and chill." Skylar tilted her head as Bella's face darkened at the mention of her imprint. "What's that matter?"
"It's... It's nothing."
Skylar stood up. "Bella. What's the problem?"
"I just don't like him, Skylar. You've had to hear about his reputation before he imprinted on you. Does that not bother you at all?" Bella ranted.
Skylar scoffed. "I'm sorry, would you rather of my boyfriend sucked the life out of living people?"
"Look," Bella began. "I'm sorry, but I don't like him. And you really can't say anything about me not liking him because you treat Edward like literal shit."
Skylar took a step back in realization. "I didn't think that it bothered you that bad. Besides, look what he's put you through!"
"How could it not? Both you and Charlie hate his guts. I've forgiven him... why can't you?" At the end, Bella shook her head. "I'll be with Jake. Don't wait up."
Skylar watched as her twin stormed out of the room. Slowly lowering herself on her bed, she placed her head in her hands. Honestly, she had never thought about how her actions towards Edward might of bothered Bella. But how was she supposed to like Edward? Bella's life had been in constant danger since she had met him... How was she suppose to be friendly towards him?

"I thought you said you were busy," Paul groaned. He gave her a pointed glare as he motioned towards the computer that was currently sitting on Skylar's lap. "What the hell? Watching Netflix does not count as being busy."
"It does if you're watching The Office. Besides, I thought you were busy patrolling. What's a young adult to do when nobody's around?" Skylar shot him a glare before turning back to her show.
Paul looked at her closed door. "Charlie is actually downstairs, which is why I snuck in through the window."
Rolling her eyes, Skylar pressed play on the screen. "Well? Are you just going to stand there or are you going to watch this with me?"
"I would love to 'watch this with you'," Paul playfully mocked, "But unlike you, I -"
Both snapped their heads as the door opened. Bella poked her head through, her face souring as she spotted the boy standing in the middle of her twin's room. "I, um... I just came by to say that I'm back, and that I'm sorry for this morning. It was uncalled for." She nodded at the pair before attempting to shut the door, only to be stopped by Paul.
