In The Eye Of The Storm

Chapter 5

Henry sits with Hope on the couch holding her as they watch TV together. He rubs her back gently and he plays with her baby fuzz waiting for Jupiter to come back and pick her up. He lifts her up gently "are you hungry baby?" He asks her sweetly. She giggles and she kicks her legs. He smiles softly "your silly" he kisses her head and then he sets her down in the chair. He pushes the chair up to the table.

Jupiter's POV

He walks to Henry's quietly with his hands in his pockets he had gotten the job and he was excited and happy that he was making money again. He stops at the stops at a crosswalk. He looks across the street. There was a girl standing there. They cross the street at the same time. As he passes he gets a good look at her and he stops dead in the street and he takes her hand "willow?" He whispers his hands shaking as he pulls her back. The girl looks up at him quietly. She had fiery long red hair was was hidden by her hood. It was willow. But the only thing that was different about her was that her eyes weren't violet. They were vibrant pink. She pulls her arm out his "I don't know you" she says quietly and she keeps walking.

Jupiter stands there watching her leave. A loud honk pulls him out of his state. He looks at the driver and then he runs home quickly.

Willow's POV

She walks quickly her breathing heavy. She did remember him. He was her love. Her soul mate. She stops and she leans against the cold brick. She didn't want him to know it was her. Not with her life the way it is now. She runs home quickly. Her home was a vampire clan that was holding up in an old apartment building. She runs to her room and closes the door locking it. She lays down on the bed. She curls up tightly. She could hear the commotion outside everyone was yelling. She hated when they did this it made her ears ring.

Her clan was made up of 4 vampires. The leader which they call master. Is Austin. They call him master because he was the one who changed them. They can't do anything to touch their master or disobey him they are bound to him. She walks to the window and she sits down looking at the fall below.

The door bursts open frightening her. She looks up at Austin standing in the doorway. "Hello master" she says and she looks back out the window. "I would like you to join us for dinner tonight willow." He says. She just stares out the window quietly. Austin frowns deeply. "Fine but you can't deny the way I made you forever one day your gonna except it and your gonna be by my side forever."

Willow closes her eyes and she wrings her wrist tightly "please just leave me. Haven't you done enough to me" She whispers. Austin walks over quickly making no sound "I saved you" he says glaring at her grabbing her by her arm. "You can live forever because of me." Willow glares at him "you killed my child! It's not worth living without her!" She slaps him.

Austin growls deeply from his chest it was almost a hiss or a purr but it was terrifying. He grabs her and throws her across the room her impact breaking the picture that was on the all. "You will never hit me again!" He yells and he grabs her up again and he throws her again and again until he was satisfied "you won't have dinner tonight!" He yells and he locks the door behind him.

Willow lays there the pain was unbearable but it would soon go away. She closes her eyes "I never asked for this life." She whispers "all I want is to leave this world." She closes her eyes as her bones are healed. She stands slowly and she walks to her bed and she sits down looking at the cd on her side bed. She sighs and picks it up holding it to her chest tightly "I did so wrong by you Jupiter" she whispers crying holding the cd. "I should have listened to you." She whispers and she closes her eyes tightly.
