Rehearsal was over. Maia told her mom when they got home. Ellie was okay with it . Ellie thought as long as her daughter is happy that's all that matters. Maia went to the park alone this time. Dominic hugged her and made sure no one was around. He kissed her but Ryan showed up. 

Ryan shouted, "Alriiiight!"

Maia jumped and Ryan pointed at Maia and said, "I told you!"

Maia rolled her eyes at Ryan. The next day was competition. Maddie's solo was amazing. Her turns and her faces she made were beautiful. When Maddie came into the dressing room Maia and Maddie hugged. Maddie wished her good luck and said, "I love you" in a sisterly way. Before Abby called her Maia got a good luck text from Dominic. She smiled at her phone like goof. Kalani knew something was up. She sensed it ever since the sleepover. Kalani told Maia she wanted to talk to her.

Kalani questioned, "What's going on?"

Maia was confused. She knew why Kalani asked but she didn't know how she knew. Maia gave her a worried/scared look. Kalani knows her best friend well sister actually.

Kalani widened her eyes an asked, "Oh my gosh! Is it a guy?! It's a guy  I can tell. Is it Dominic?"

Maia responded quickly, "What? No I'm way too young. 

Kalani knew she was lying and Maia told her and Maddie. They both had a sense. They swore not to tell anyone. Kalani listed a bunch of things as how she knew. The flirting, the sneaking around, the way Maia and Dominic look at eachother.  

Abby shouted, "Maia come on! You'r on in 5!"

Maia left and got ready to perform. She performed her solo and it was beautiful. Her grandma would be proud. It was time for awards and they called Maddie as second. Maia was shocked because Maddie's solo was amazing. Maia ended up first.
