Everything Will Be Okay

All the girls are back in season for dance moms. Maia has a new neighbor right across the street. She can literally hear the couple screaming at eachother. Before dance Kalani and Maia went to the park. They found a little girl crying. She was about the age of 5.

"Hi, what's your name?", Kalani said.

Maia questioned the little girl, "Whats wrong sweetie?"

"H-hi, I'm Avia... My parents are always yelling and daddy's always hitting mommy.." , the little girl answered.

Maia felt sad for her. She knew exactly how she felt. Dominic was running up to the park and saw Avia.

"Avia? what are you doing here?" , Dominic asked.

Avia started to tear, "They won't stop fighting."

Dominic told Maia and Kalani she was his niece. Maia and Kalani's phone ringed it was Maddie telling them to get their butt's in the car for dance they left and Maia gave Dom a peck on the lips making sure no one was looking.

Maia was on top of the pyramid on the first week. She was doing a duet with a special guest. The door opened and their stood Kenneth San Jose. Her guy best friend. Jill was mad of course but no one really cared. Class was over and everyone went home. Ellie told Maia her dad was coming in town because he wanted to see her. Maia was nervous. She's never actually met him. Ellie told Maia to get some sleep because she was spending the whole day with him. Maia was dreading for it. Before she went to sleep a flashback popped into her mind.

*Flashback Starts*

"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY JUST COMING HOME NOW?! ITS FUCKING 2 'O' CLOCK IN THE MORNING! WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO SAY TO YOUR DAUGHTER?! YOU'RE SO STUPID YOU KNOW THAT SHE NEEDS A DAD IN HER LIFE! WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA CARE!?, Ellie shouted at her dad, Jimmy.

"I DIDN'T WANT A KID IN THE FIRST PLACE! BUT YOU RUINED IT!", he yelled.

"UMM IT TAKES 2 TO MAKE A BABY! YOU DUMBASS! SHES A 4 YEAR OLD! SHE NEEDS HER DAD!",Ellie yelled.

"SHE IS A MISTAKE! SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED!" he yelled.

*Another Flashback*

"Maia get ready we're going to get frozen yogurt!", her mom said.

*giggles* "YAAAAY!" Maia squealed.

They went to the airport. Maia asked where he was going he said he was going to go on a business trip. Its been 9 years.

*Flashback ends*\

Maya has fallen asleep.

Maya woke up to the sound of her alarm beeping. She got ready and her mom dropped her off to the cafe. She was there before him. She waited as her mom went to go to help out with the dance studio. Her dad walked in. There was a moment of silence.

"Hi Maya." her dad greeted.

"H-hi dad" Maya greeted back.

Kalani walked in for her breakfast. She knew Maya's dad was in town . She hugged her and left.

"Who's that?" Jimmy asked.

"That's Kalani. She's my bestfriend but you wouldn't know much about her because well yenno.", Maya explained in a mad tone.

Ryan and Dominic walked in to get their breakfast pastries. They said hi and then left.

"Other friends", She said.

They spent almost the whole day talking and it was over. The next day, before dance, Kalani, Maddie, Mackenzie, Brynn, Dominic, and Ryan were at the cafe. They were all laughing and smiling until Maya's dad walked in.

"Maya.. I remembered what you said yesterday, you don't wanna be angry anymore. So, I wanna talk to you." Jimmy said.

They walked outside and sat down.

"None of this was your fault Maya. I wasn't there for you. It was all of my fault." Jimmy told her.

Maya's voice started to break, "You're there for your new family aren't you? What did they do that I didn't?"

Jimmy's voice was a shot, "You never did anything Maya. You were-

Before Jimmy could finish his sentence Maya finished it and retorted, "Just a mistake. I never should have happened right?"

Jimmy was shocked that she remembered every word.

Jimmy told Maya, "I was who I was.. I wasn't a good person, but i feel like I've changed.

"Who are you?" Maya asked.

Jimmy smiled, "I found a job and I've managed to keep it."

Maya looked away and sniffled she questioned, "You found a job?"

He nodded.

She looked him in the eyes and said, "Your job was to stay. Mom and my friend Ryan thinks that if I forgive you it'll bring me peace. They're usually right about these things but I just can't... Your job was to stay. Thanks for coming and have a safe flight/ride back."

She walked in and told Ryan, "I'm sorry. I couldn't forgive him."

Ryan asked her, "Maya, did you forgive yourself?"

Maya just cried and Ryan pulled her into a brotherly hug.
