Sometimes I wonder who I really am and what is my density I mean come on I'm the oldest and we still don't know my powers. Oh right you don't know who I am well I'm Jewel and I have a little brother and a little sister and of course our parents. And

yep we have powers mom can move objects with her brain, dad can see the past. Cody, my little brother, takes after dad and Elisa,my little sister, takes after mom, but me......I don't know who I take after. But all that changed when they came........let's begin.

I was sitting in my room when it happen I didn't know what to do yell for my parents or sit there and look at it, it happen one night before they came. I was sleeping when I had a strange feeling someone was watching me I opened my eye and looked around no one was there so I waited then I hear voices it was coming from my parents room. I got up and walked silently there, their door was cracked and I listen and the conversation was very frightening.

"So why did you want to wait in the middle of the night to talk?" That was dad

"Jim, I'm worried about Jewel she should of gotten her powers a long time ago.'

'I know, I know but there is nothing we can do but try harder."

"Jim the eclipse is in 4 weeks and if she doesn't have her powers then....."

My mom started to cry and dad was holding her and heard one thing

"We'll find a way."

I started back toward my room and sat on my bed because I was now worried. You see when an eclipse comes families are brought to the elders to show what their children can do and if they don't have powers........they have their memory erased and are sent to a normal family. I felt a strange feeling on my arm and looked down it started glowing and it made a pattern I quickly drew it and then it was gone. I stared at the drawing wondering what it meant I laid down on my bed just with a little hope that it was a dream.
