Ancient Powers

Chapter fifthteen

We set up a fire one mile away from the cabin. We sat there in silence as we ate our dish we caught earlier. I finished and I sat on the ground and pulled my legs up to my chin. It was very cold. I started remembering everything the Hunter said then the image of my family crossed my mind tears stated filling my eyes. Brad broke the silence.

"You really know when your angry."

I smiled and sat next to me.

"Your shaking really bad."

He put his arm around me and held me closer.

"I'm not shaking because of that." I said "I miss them so much and to see Cody like that." I couldn't hold it in anymore I let the tears go down on my face. Brad pulled me closer and when I was half done he lifted my head and wiped the tears away that were left.

"Well get them back." he said and we watched the fire and I drifted off into a little sleep.

The hunter walked in with blood running down his stomach.

"I can't wait to get her for this." he said, He walked over to where the drainer was.

"I need to be healed." the drainer nodded his head and the hunter sat in a chair with a ball around. Mom was put in a regular chair the drainer hooked stuff up and pulled a lever, mom screamed in pain while the ball filled up with blue lightning. He walked out and he was completely healed.

I opened my eyes to see Brad staring at me.

"What?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah why?"

"Well you were moving around and your arm was glowing."

"I think I have the power to see who am thinking about what they are doing right now."

"You mean you can look at people of what they are doing right now?"

"Yes that's what I said."

We got up and sat on the log that was behind us, we watched as the sun rose higher it was so beautiful then I felt I hand on my back as it went up to my shoulders and he moved me closer I rested my head on his shoulder for once I felt safe I felt happy and with a little hope so here I come Hunter and Drainer I'm getting my family back!
