Ancient Powers

Chapter ten

Brad and I were sitting in front the smoking robot bear and we looked each other my eye was still burning from the dry blood.

"Well I better get going." I said and went to reach for my bag but then he grabbed my wrist.

"You can't go your bleeding, and also not without me."

Still holding my wrist he reached behind him and pulled out a bottle of water. I sat on a rock while he cleaned my eye when I looked in the puddle of water I has three marks one going down my nose that was healing and so was the other one but the middle on going down my eye and stopping where my cheek begins wasn't healed it was a deep cut so I will be gone in a few days.

"Finished."

"Thanks."

"So can I come with you?"

"No, it's way to dangerous and my family might become in more in danger."

"But......."

He looked up and saw the sun rising he sat next to me it was a breath taking view. All of a sudden my arm started glowing.

We turned around and saw the hunter.

"Run!" I yelled we ran the opposite direction and ran to a open field with only a tall grassy spot we jumped in it and I laid on my arm and he laid on me. The hunter was right over us when he screamed

" amicus meus venit." which means come my friend in Latin.

Was he talking to me? But then a robot bear came out.

"We will search her tomorrow."

And they walked away. Brad rolled off of me and my arm stopped glowing.

"Who was that?" he asked

"The hunter." I said

"The who?"

"The hunter him and the drainer want me because of my arm glowing. I told you this before."

"I know but I forgot it was a lot of information."

"I think we should stay here tonight, who knows where he is now."

And with that we went to sleep.

The hunter walked through the door with the robot bear. Elisa and everyone else looked at him and listen to the hunter.

"She escaped and she had a boy with her now."

The drainer made a hand gesture.

"I'll send the bear out tomorrow."

"Oh no!" Elisa thought and she looked at mom and dad.

"You monster!" dad yelled

They looked up at him.

"If she is on her way why do you want her now so badly?"

They smiled and said

"You will soon know."

"But for now we need to recharge the bear." the drained used his left hand to pull a cover off a machine it was a sphere holding blue stuff it had a cord and a hole they lowered mom and dad down the drainer took off his glove reveling five tentacles with a hole in the middle.

I woke up finding that I was in Brads arms with a hand on his chest and then he woke up and looked at me and smiled.

"What?" I asked

"Why are we like this?"

"I don't know maybe we did this in our sleep."

He nodded and didn't complain and I didn't either.
