Chapter 3
I ran downstairs and saw bacon grease splashed on the floor and mom picking up the pan......my mom never drops thing.
"Mom?" she looked up and she was smiling. "What?" I said
"Your dad scared me so bad I dropped this."
And there was dad cleaning the grease off the floor
"Dad always scares mom in the morning." I thought laughing to myself.
Cody then appeared
"Is everything okay?"
"Of course honey." mom replied
After we finished cleaning Elisa appeared.
"What happened?"
She always appears after the work is done but I knew she fell back asleep when I left because her shirt was on backwards.
After our cold pancakes I ran upstairs to change my outfit it has grease all over it when I changed into a white tank top and another pair a shorts.
I went outside to watch Cody and Elisa practice their powers. Elisa was first she closed her eyes, lifted her hand, there was nothing but silent's then the barrel started moving and was lifted one foot of the ground, she closed her fist pulled it back and throw it like throwing a baseball. Cody was next he closed his eyes and opened them they were like dads when he looked around my room.
"Son I want you to think about George Washington."
Cody's eyes closed and very blurry an imaged appeared in front of him it was George Washington!!!!!
He opened his eyes and they were hazel again.
"Jewel you turn."
I gulped and stood up
"Jewel focus on the barrel." I did what Elisa did nothing happened
"Alright close your eye and think of your mom."
I thought with all my might but nothing happened.
Maybe I will never find my power in till my arm started glowing.
