The first thing Cara and Carlos saw when they got out of his truck four hours later was Kevin and Bailey making out in the front seat of Kevin's Toyota Tundra. Cara and Carlos exchanged glances before Carlos knocked on the glass window, startling both Kevin and Bailey. "Get a room!" Carlos yells at him, to which Kevin responds by flipping him off. Snickering, Carlos and Cara head into the cabin and each claim a bedroom as their own. "How in the hell does your dad afford this place on a cop's salary?" Carlos asks Cara as they flop down on the couch. "He gets checks from the government every month because he served in the military," She explains. Carlos nods right as Kevin and Bailey walk into the room. "You scared the living shit out of us!" Kevin shouts, punching Carlos' shoulder as Bailey sat down beside Cara. "Where are Ellie, Syd and Micah?" She asks. Cara opens her mouth to respond but is cut off by a pair of cold hands covering her eyes. "Guess who?" She hears Micah whisper in her ear. She playfully shoves him back and they laugh. Sydney comes into view and stands in front of the fireplace. "I have something to tell you guys, and you're probably not going to like it," She says before being cut off by the shrill, excited scream of Sierra Davenport. Cara's eyes widen as she spins around on the couch, her eyes meeting with those of Sierra, who was joined by Kayla Morris and Caden Hennessy. "This weekend is gonna be lit!" Sierra exclaims as she pulls Cara up from the couch and hugs her tightly. Everyone else stood around, awkwardly silent. Caden stood beside Cara and leaned over to whisper in her ear. "I'm glad I get to spend the weekend with you," As her eyes widened, Cara pushed him away and ran up the stairs, into the bedroom she'd be sharing with Ellie and Sydney.
"Car, you okay?" Carlos asks as he walks into the room and sits down beside Cara on the bed. She shakes her head. "Why the fuck are they here?" She questions, sitting up. "I can deal with Sierra and Kayla for the weekend, but why does Caden have to be here?" Carlos gives her a sympathetic look. "He is Sierra's boyfriend," He says. Cara rolls her eyes. "Does it look like I give a shit? I fucking hate that cocky asshole!" She exclaims. "Not to mention the fact that all three of them are acting like we weren't just at a funeral earlier!" Carlos sighs and wraps his arms tightly around her. "I miss her," Cara whispers, her voice strained as the tears came falling from her eyes. She grips Carlos' shirt tightly. "I know, Cara, I know," Carlos soothed, rubbing her back lightly as he attempted to calm her down. "Everything is going to be fine,"
About twenty minutes passed before Cara had calmed down. She fixed her makeup and went back down to the living room with Carlos. As they sat down on the couch, Ellie mouthed "Are you okay?" to Cara, who nodded her head and relaxed on the couch.

Later that night, Cara awoke on the couch, laying on the chest of none other than Caden Hennessy. Letting out a quiet sigh, she got up from the couch, silently thanking God that Sierra hadn't woken up and seen her lying on Caden. Silently, she walked into the kitchen to get herself a glass of water, and as she rose the glass to her lips, she let out a loud gasp when she saw a shadow move in the window she stood in front of. She leaned against the counter, attempting to see what or who it was, but she couldn't. "What are you doing?" She jumps at the sound of Caden's voice and she spins around on her heel. "I think somebody's outside," She says. Caden raises an eyebrow. "Cara, it's three in the morning," He says. "There's nobody out there. You're just tired," He walks across the tile floor to stand beside her, craning his neck to look out the window. "Caden, I'm serious, I saw someone or something move right outside the window!" She exclaims. Caden lets out a sigh. "Would it make you feel better if I went outside to check it out?" He asks her. She nods her head, but reaches out and grabs his hand. "I'm coming with you," She says. Caden opens his mouth to protest but Cara shakes her head. "Don't argue. If somebody really is out there, you shouldn't go alone,"
Together, Cara and Caden walked through the back door, each holding a flashlight. "Hello?" Caden called. "Is anybody out here?" No response. They wandered around the cabin before heading back inside. "See? I told you there wasn't anybody out here," Caden says. "You probably just saw a deer or something," Cara couldn't shake the feeling that somebody was watching them. She knew that what she saw wasn't 'a deer or something', but she just let it go and walked inside with Caden.
Little did they know, somebody was outside the cabin watching them, snickering to themselves as they watched Cara and Caden searching.

"Where did you two go?" Sierra asks when Cara and Caden came back inside. "We went outside to smoke," Caden tells her, lying through his teeth. Sierra raised an eyebrow. "You don't smell like you were smoking," She says. Cara rolls her eyes. "Well, we were. You want one?" She says, pulling a pack of cigarettes out of her pocket. Sierra shakes her head and walks up the stairs. "Well, we'd better get to bed," Caden says, turning to face Cara. He could still see that she was shaken up about what she'd seen in the window. "Hey, don't worry. We looked everywhere, there's nothing out there," He says. Cara slowly nods her head. "Yeah, sorry, it's just with everything that's happened, Blair and all, I'm a little on edge," She says. Caden nods his head in understanding. "Goodnight, Cara," He says. Cara gives him a small smile. "Goodnight, Caden,"
