Chapter 12

Jess pov :
When Max stopped questioning me he looked the other way and then I felt a lot of pain in the back of my shoulder. I started to scream and then Max came running to me. I felt a sharp blade dig further deep into my skin and the last thing that I saw was Max. After that everything went black.

Max pov :
When I heard Jess' scream my heart broke I turned around and saw that someone was stabbing her in the arm. I couldn't see the guys face they were wearing a black mask and black clothing. I started to run at him and tackled him to the floor. I took the knife out of his hands I took my phone out and called the cops. As I finished doing that I was so mad I punched him until he past out. And as I was waiting I ran to Jess and started crying. Why her she is so funny, cute, nice why did it have to happen to her. I then heard sirens good thing I still had the guy who almost killed her I hope he rots in jail. I then decided to see who this guy was and it was Jess' old boyfriend Jason. That jerk what should I say to her when she wakes up I don't know what to do. The paramedics came and they took Jess and I rode with them. They took the knife out and cleaned her wound we arrived at the hospital. And then we arrived at the hospital they had to operate on her arm because it broke. I had to stay in the waiting room I texted everyone to come an meet me here.

M: GUYS COME QUICK TO THE HOSPITAL

all: What why what happened

M: Jess. stabbed. hospital

All: WHAT who did this to her

M: it was Jason her ex

S: ugh that jerk I swear if I see him I'll beat the snot out of him

Ross: so will I

Red: me too

B: me's too

M: ok now get your buts over here

All: ok

Jess pov :
I woke up in a white room and as I sat up I felt a lot of pain rise up in my arm. I was about to scream and the nurse came so I made a loud eek. The nurse walked over and gave me a shot then I couldn't feel the pain anymore. Then the nurse left and my friends walked in first I saw Max and his eyes were red I think he was crying. Then Alesa came running in and she huged me and cried. I said,

J: guys what happened why am I in the hospital

M: Jess do you not remember what happened at the park

J: no

M: you got stabbed in the arm and you passed out

J: by who and did they catch him

M: yes and I don't know how you're going to react to this

J: Max just tell me ( I said annoyed )

M: it was Jason

J: WHAT

M: are you ok

J: NO I have to get out here

M: Jess it's okay he's in jail

S: Jess calm it's okay

Alesa: Jess you're going to be okay me and the guys won't let him hurt you

J: you're right I'm sorry for yelling

A: it's okay now get some rest

J: okay bye

All: bye
