This is not how I expected this day to go. I didn't expect to be fighting with Hans, Elsa, Astrid, and Flynn. I didn't expect to be defending Dunbroch from Pitch's fearlings. And I sure as heck didn't expect to be this angry. Why couldn't Pitch just leave us alone?

My train of thought was interrupted by a nightmare, in the form of a dragon, flying towards me. Jack and I decided to take on the dragon nightmares because we could actually fly. I swung my weapon at the beast and dissolved it immediately. Jack saw that Merida and Rapunzel were surrounded by nightmares and quickly flew over to help.

Toothless and I were overwhelmed with fearlings. We were clearly outnumbered and I could sense Toothless was getting tired. "Just hang in there, bud." I said as I sliced my axe through numerous nightmares.

"Hiccup, what is that?" Jack asked nervously as he flew next to me and pointed behind me.

I fixed my eyes on where he was gesturing and saw a fleet of boats and a swarm of dragons behind it. I instantly recognized the symbols on the flags and a very familiar man with a big red beard, large stature, and a viking helmet crowned atop his head leading the armada on his dragon.

"It's my dad!" I exclaimed happily.

My dad saw Jack and I and flew up to us with his green dragon, Skullcrusher. "Dad, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"We heard that Dunbroch was under attack so we came here to help." My dad answered and gestured to the people getting off the boats and flying their dragons. I saw pretty much the whole village with weapons drawn. I was now almost certain that we were gonna win.

"Thanks, Stoick, we need all the help we can get." Jack thanked.

"No problem, Jack. Tell me what's going on." My dad spoke with seriousness.

"See the black creatures?" I pointed to the nightmares and my dad nodded. "Those are what we're fighting."

My dad nodded his head once again and told everyone what was going on. No one wasted any time and started to attack the nightmares.

"We may actually win now." Jack smirked.

"I was thinking the same thing." I replied with a slight smile as well.

"Heads up!" Jack shouted and blasted ice behind me. Two more nightmares came up and Toothless fired at them without me even saying anything.

I could hear Merida and Rapunzel screaming from down below but I couldn't see them anywhere. These weren't their normal screams but shrieking that indicated they were in trouble and something serious happened.

"Jack, where's Merida and Punzie?" I panicked. He looked around frantically but he couldn't see them either.

I heard more of their screams and found where it was coming from. "They're in the castle." I shouted to Jack and we both dived for the castle.

We burst through the door and saw the girls fighting Pitch, Elsa, and Astrid. From the context of the situation, I could only infer that Flynn, Astrid, and Elsa were lying to us the whole time and were actually working with Pitch. But I was surprised to see Hans fighting Astrid.

Merida and Elsa were shooting ice and arrows at each other while Rapunzel and Pitch were face to face. To my surprise, Rapunzel's hair was now dark brown and cut so short that it was just barely below her ears. I saw the rest of her hair on the ground but it, too, was brown and Rapunzel was infuriated.

Jack didn't hesitate to hurl ice at Pitch. Pitch was knocked into the wall and glared at Jack and I. "Punzie, what happened to your hair?" Jack asked but still kept his eyes fixed on Pitch.
