The 4th of July

It's the fourth of July and Rob, Kristen and the hobo pack were packing the car, they were heading to there favorite spot. Fireworks spot that is.

CJ has a friend that works in the pyrotechnic field and does fireworks professionally and he was coming with the gang to the spot. It's off the beating path from the usual LA spots. They drive through the woods for about 45 minutes. Toward the end of the gravel road it opens to a big field. That's where they set up their party.

They open all the doors and everyone starts setting something up. Rob and Kristen worked together setting up there tent, they had been camping before so they remembered how to set up this tent. Kristen let Rob finish their little camping site while she started on the food. Everyone loves Kristen's cooking so naturally that's what job she got.

Once everyone's camp sites were set and everyone had ate and the fire started they were ready for some fire works. Rob and Kristen lay with each other on their sheet. They hadn't had time all day to really spend with each other even though they were together.

Everyone was drinking and taking shots and getting excited to see the show of fireworks they were about to see. CJ's friend says he's finished setting it all up and ran over to the gang with the trigger in hand. They cheers to good friends and freedom and independence, and CJ's friends hits the button. Rob and Kristen return to their towel after the shot.

They sit down to watch the beautiful light show. Rob watched Kristen's face while she watched while each colorful sparkle shot across the sky. His favorite ones were the green ones because they mad Kristen's eyes look even more breathtaking then they already were. Kristen looks over and catches Rob starring at her and crosses her eyes and makes a funny face. Rob starts laughing uncontrollably and Kristen joins him. She pushes him over, now Robs laying on his back. She sits on top of him laughing still, huge booms of sound and sparkles of colors catch Kristen's attention again.

Rob saw the wonder and excitement in Kristen face and thought she was the most adorable thing he had ever seen. He sits up and lightly cradles Kristen so she doesn't fall. Once she was sturdy he let go and moved his hands to her face so he could kiss her. They kiss deeply, passionately , still so in love after being together for so long. The fireworks in the background were like a corny teen movie, but it made the kiss more beautiful.

Rob pulls away with Kristen's face still in hand and says "I love you". The fire works continue in the background, -boom boom boom- Kristen looked at Rob confused and said "what?!". Rob cleared his throat and said it a little louder "I said I love you!". Kristen has a little chuckle and shook her head and yelled louder too "WHAT!!". Rob getting mildly annoyed with the fireworks making noise and clears his throat one more time and screams " I LOVE YOU!!". The fireworks had stopped as soon as Rob started yelling. Kristen puts her hands on her ears and giggles and replies loudly "I love you too!".
