Rob's 28th Birthday

It's Rob's 28th birthday and Kristen wakes up early because she wants to serve breakfast for him in bed. Suddenly she runs to the bathroom and vomits for the 4th time within the last 24 hours. Since she's been throwing up so much the last week, she grabs the pregnancy test hidden in their cabinet, and when she finds out the results she has to fight hard not to wake up Rob and tell him.

She wipes the tears away that have fallen and starts preparing Rob's birthday breakfast.

When she's done cooking and puts everything on a tray to head up to their bedroom where Rob is sleeping, she grabs the bottle of sirup and writes 'whab' on the waffle on top of the stack before she climbs up the stairs with her boyfriend's breakfast in her hands and his baby in her belly.

"Morning daddy," Kristen greets Rob who is slowly waking up and way too sleepy to notice what she called him.

"'Morning" he smiles at her.

"I made you breakfast," Kristen tells him as he sits up in the bed and scoots to the side so she can place the tray in his lap and sit down in the bed beside him, "-and happy birthday baby!" She pecks his lips and lays her head on his shoulder.

"Go eat," Kristen makes a gesture with her head towards the tray planted on Rob's thighs and he follows her gaze.

"What does 'whab' mean?" He asks when sees the letters Kristen has written in sirup across the waffles. She doesn't answer - instead she takes Rob's hand and places it's on her stomach but he's too lost in his own thoughts of what the four letters could possibly mean.

"'Whab' means-" Kristen begins explaining when she suddenly runs to the bathroom. When she's back she's got a tiny white stick in her hand. "Still throwing up?" Rob asks her with a concerned look.

"Yeah but at least I found out why this morning." She smiles a warming smile at him before she walks over to the bed to sit beside him again. "So why do you keep throwing up?" Rob asks her looking slightly confused.

"Because w.h.a.b." Kristen answers simply trying to hide a smirk.

"Yeah and what does that mean?" He questions her once again looking even more confused and concerned now.

"We're having a baby".
