Chapter II

"Alex, breakfast's ready!" I was awoken by Aunt Marie calling me downstairs. I got up, looked around me, trying to wake up.

I got downstairs where Marie was already eating.

"So Alex" she started "How do you like the neighborhood?"

"It's pretty nice. I met some of Donna's friends, they're pretty cool" I answered simply

"Oh you're gonna grow to love them. I've been living in this neighborhood for such a long time, they're great kids" she said and I nodded

As I finished eating I went upstairs and put my Led Zeppelin III vinyl in the record player, grabbed a book and just relaxed on my bed.

I got bored of the book. What now? I can always stop by to Eric's, they're probably there now.

I put one some simple black jeans and red converse, and a Zeppelin shirt, cause I got into the mood. No, it wasn't for Hyde to notice. Or was it?

"Aunt Marie, I'm going to my friend's house" I said

"Formans?" she asked and I nodded "Okay, have fun"

Good thing they we're just across the street, so you wouldn't walk too much. I knocked slightly before opening the door, where Donna, Eric and Hyde were sitting

"Good morning" I said

"Oh hey Brooks" Eric said as I walked in "Yeah, you got a 'last name nickname' "

"I'm honored" I joked and then sat in my new 'spot'.

"Hey glasses" I turned to Hyde who was looking at me already

"Hey curls" He teased me back with the nickname

"I have to go help my dad with something, I'll be back in a bit" Donna said, and then left

I kinda noticed that Eric gets a little nervous when Donna's around, I mean, he's definitely more relaxed when she's not here

"Eric?" I spoke and he turned to me "Do you.. like Donna?" I asked and he looked at me confused

"Me? Donna? Pff" he said and I gave him the look "Okay, maybe a little" he sighed

"I knew it!" I said "You two should totally hook up"

"It's not that easy Alex. We've known each other since, well, since ever, and we've been best friend ever since. Plus, I don't think she likes me like that. But please don't say anything to her, I'm thinking about making a move, but I'm finding the right moment"

"Come on Forman, what are you waiting for?" Hyde said

"I'll see. But not a word to her. Or the others" he said and I promised I won't tell. But I knew what I had to do

"Okay, I'll be back in a few, I have to pick up something from auntie's" I said and quickly walked out, making my way to Donna's

Hyde's POV

"What do you think of her?" Eric asked me once she left "I see you don't hate her, so that's strange"

"Yeah well I don't hate her. She's cool, we have lots of things in common. I like her" I said bluntly

"You like her?" Forman wiggled his eyebrows and I rolled my eyes

"Not like, as in like her. As a friend" I said

"Mhm" he mumbled. "But she's hot" he laughed

"Yeah she is" I laughed also
