Mabel's eyes fluttered open as the sound of birds chirping filled her ears. She looked around and began sitting up, groaning from the pain before turning and seeing a man sitting at the edge of her bed. Her eyes were still blurry but she rubbed them and began to realize that the man was who she had been searching for this entire time, her father.
"Hey, welcome back to the land of the living." He smiled, his voice was warm and caring and she began to smile.
"Do you know who I am?" She asked her eyes no longer blurry, the man had a lot of features like she had, but he also had a lot of missing ones, the ones she had gotten from her mother. Smiling she sighed.
"Yes, you are my daughter, and my savior."
Mabel chuckled, "I doubt that last part,"
"Well I did repay the favor."
Smiling Mabel sighed and began getting out of bed, grabbing her leather leggings and putting them on before pulling on a shirt and jacket. "Well, I'm in need of a drink, do you mind coming with?" Mabel asked.
"I see you got some traits from me, what kind of drinks do you like?"
"Rum, and wine. Beer tastes terrible."
He chuckled and began leading her out of the room. They talked quite a bit telling one another tails of their adventures. Clara was also reunited with her father and they were currently having a drinking competition. But above all else, all families were reunited. It wouldn't be long before they would set sail again, and conquer the Caribbean for the pirates.
