Katie's POV~
*beep beep*
School will be the death of me. I got home at 2am last night and it's probably my fault that I can barely keep my eyes open. I did my entire morning routine half asleep and headed out the door after I ate my breakfast.
When I got to school, I looked for Meredith but she was no were to be found. We usually waited for each other in the parking lot but this time, her car was there and she wasn't. She's probably at Daniel's table again. I said to myself. I entered the school campus and walked over to Daniel's table and I was correct.
"You're alive!" Daniel and Meredith said in unison and created a group hug.
"You guys were so annoying last night." I said, as I rolled my eyes.
"Tell me everything that happened." Meredith said, as she pulled me away from the crowded populars' table.
"Nothing. He just taught me how to roller skate, we went out to eat and we went to Santa Monica Pier."
"Did you guys kiss?" Meredith asked, as she raised an eyebrow.
"No. Why would I kiss him? It wasn't even an official date. At least it wasn't an official date to me." I said, elbowing her side.
"Ow." She said, elbowing me back.
"Anyways, how was your date with Daniel?" I asked, as I made air quotes with my fingers when I said the word date.
"It was okay but I don't think he likes me the way I like him."
"He likes you. I'm positive."
"I hope you're right." Meredith sighed.
The bell began to ring and it was time for me to learn in this horrid place.

It was lunch time and I walked out of my class and headed to the cafeteria to wait for Meredith. Once she got her food, we headed to our usual table and waited for Daniel. Daniel usually sits with us at lunch.
"I bet Daniel's gonna get here in any minute." I said, looking at the time on my phone.
"Hey guys." Daniel said, as he st next to me.
"We were just talking about you." Meredith said, laughing.
"Were you guys talking about my handsome face?" Daniel asked.
"No." I said, as I shook my head.
As we were eating I took a glance at the populars' table, behind Meredith's head. Jack was sitting with Jessica today and I could see how annoyed his friends were from the other table. I rolled my eyes and pretended not to notice but it was hard not too. Jack and Jessica kept kissing and it grossed me out because they both had food in their mouths. Ew.
"Are Jack and Jessica dating?" I asked, as I played with my fork.
"Yeah, isn't it obvious?" Daniel replied, as he took a bite of his pizza.
"Their PDA is grossing me out." I said, as I placed my hand on my forehead.
"You're just jealous." Meredith said.
"Pfft, me? Jealous? Totally." I said, as I rolled my eyes.
-
School was over and I headed to my car.
"Hi." Jack said.
"Hi." I said, with a smile.
"So, about the date last night."
