You yawned as you watched your mom walk in the house. They just came back from their honeymoon and they looked closer than before. It was cute to you now, honestly.

It was 6 in the morning, and your hair was a mess. You wore sweatpants and a long sleeved shirt.

"(Y/n)." You heard Jimin's dad say. You hummed tiredly and walked over. He smiled at you and handed you a necklace. "I found something that reminded me of you on this trip. So, wear it." He said with a smile. Your eyes were wide and your lips parted.

"It's beautiful..." You glanced at the silver chain with a beautiful, white diamond rose on it. "Thank you so much." You hugged him. It was the first time you showed him affection, since it was weird to think of him as your step dad. You put it on immediately and smiled up at him.

"It looks good on you. Just as I imagined." He said with a big smile. "Keep smiling." He pinched your cheek before walking off to find your mom. You smiled happily and went up to your room. You looked at yourself in the mirror and cringed in disgust.

"I need to change before Jimin sees how ugly I am..." You muttered and looked through to find an outfit. But, before you could change, Jimin walked in.

"Awww Jagi you look so cute when you're all sleepy." He walked to you and hugged you from behind. You blushed and grumbled, turning to face him.

"I look like shit. Now go so I can change." You pushed him.

"Aish are you gonna be like this now that we're dating?" He pouted "I thought you'd be naked in front of me more often. This isn't fair..." He whined. You sighed and pinched his arm.

"You really are a perv." You smiled and suddenly took your shirt off, catching Jimin off guard. He watched as you changed, biting his lip and groaning every time your fingers touched your skin. "Stop staring. I'll kick you." You threatened, making him laugh.

It was really nice. This family wasn't so bad. You got along with Jimin's dad, and soon enough your parents found out about your relationship. They were supportive though, thankfully. You didn't know if your mom talked his dad into it, or if he just didn't care, but either way, you were happy.

Days went by, then weeks. And eventually a month. Everything was perfect, until... Your mom started acting weird. Her attitude changed. She was always grumpy and tired. She didn't eat much, and she never talked to you anymore. It was honestly heartbreaking. You needed your mom, but she, didn't seem to care anymore.

The worst part about this? She started drinking. Like your dad. Heavy alcohol that she never would've touched before. What could've possibly happened to her?

You breathed out as you watched your mother pull out a bottle. It wasn't wine like she'd occasionally have. It was whisky. "Mom? What is that?" You asked in disbelief.

"Honey, don't lecture me right now." She muttered and rolled her eyes. You scoffed and bit your lip.

"It's 7 in the morning, first off." You walked over. "Second off, you PROMISED you'd never drink that stuff." You felt really sad. She rolled her eyes again and breathed out heavily.

"Get out of my face." She demanded and turned away.

"Mom!" You yelled and grabbed her shoulder, begging her to stop. She was annoyed. Very annoyed. You could sense it.

"(Y/n) I'm stressed!" She said loudly.

"Enough to drink this?" You asked angrily. It turned into a bad argument.  You would try pulling the bottle away, but she would pull it back. You yelled back and forth, and you were the only one shedding any tears. She threw curse words at you, which broke a piece of your heart each time.
