3 weeks later
I woke up to Jayden climbing on me. I swear my baby be up early. I get us up and go to brush my teeth then cook. I make oatmeal, toast, and bacon. When I was done I grabbed a baby bowl for Jayden, then I fed him while I ate.
"Eat baby so we can ready to go", I told Jayden while I was feeding him.
After we was done I gave Jayden a bath, then got him dress. Then I put him in his play pen with some toys so I could take a shower. When I got out the shower I decided to put on ripped jeans and a gray off the shoulder and some sandals. I went and grabbed my baby and our stuff so we could go. I had to stop by my uncle house. When I got there I got my baby out and went to the door.
"Wassup niece?", he asked.
"Hey unc, wassup?", I asked.
"I talked to your dad", he responded. Lord knows I miss him he has one more year and he will be out.
"What he say?" I said getting excited. By this time we were sitting on the couch. He had Jayden.
"Well saying that he missed the family and ready to get back out here and make moves. He said some more things, but it's a surprise so I can't tell you lil mama. But he did say he will be calling you soon." He told me. I miss my dad he's been locked up for too long. Can't wait for him to come home. He hasn't even had the chance to meet his grandson. When I told him I was pregnant, he was so excited. He told me he wants so many grandkids, but he not getting it from me.
"Unc where my cousins?", I asked.
"Mane they ass be everywhere, they was handling business but they should be back sometime soon." He responded.
"I miss them I think ima spend the day with them when I'm off." I told him.
"You need me to watch lil man tonight?" He asked.
"You brought it up, so that's a yes." I responded.
"Well Ant and Jayda gone be home soon." He told me.
"Aw you gone make them watch my baby." I said laughing.
"Hell yeah I'm gone leave they ass here with the baby." He said.
"Don't be acting like you don't want to be around my baby." I told him.
"I thinks that's them now." He spoked. When we looked back and they was walking in. I ran jumped on them.
" I missed yall" I yelled.
"We missed you too baby mama." Ant said. Every since I was pregnant he called me that.
"Leave me alone ugly." I said back.
"You wish I was ugly." He responded smirking.
"Whatever hey favorite cousin", I said to Jayda.
"Hey coussin", she said. We cousins but act like sisters. This right here is my girl besides Liyah. We be kicking it. As soon as the weekend hit we going out. It's much needed.
"Girl were you been I missed you," I said whining to her.
"I missed you too, but you know handling the family business." She said.
"I already know, you know if you need help I'm here." I told her. I use to be apart of the business to. Whenever they needed extra help or when things got personal with family. That's one thing I don't play about.
"Bet. You gone get a call soon." She said.
"Ok you know I'm always on the grind", I told her.
"Hell yeah, yo ass use to be handling business." She said. I started laughing. I use to love working at the trap. I'm all about making money.
"Well just give me a call, I gotta go to work." I said.
"I love yall" I yelled to everybody.
"Love you too." They yelled. I kissed my baby and went to change then left. Now Jayda got me thinking about when I use to trap. It was such fast money I was in love. I use to count money and when shit didn't add up I use to be on it. I kept it low key tho. I didn't want people to know. Especially at the trap I ain't want them niggas to know me or be trying to talk to me. I use to come after hours and handle shit with my uncle.
I finally pulled up to Kendall Hospital and grabbed my purse and went to clock in. I put my purse in my locker and went to work. At least Liyah here today so I won't be bored. Today we working an overnight shift. I don't know how I'm gone last through it.
