My head throbs with intense pain.

I feel myself open my eyes. I hear people shuffling and rushing to where I am.

"(Y/n)? Are you okay?"

Is this a dream? I wonder.

I close my eyes tightly, and re open them.

I frown deeply. All I see is black.

"(Y/n)..." a pause

Child?

What's wrong with me Slendy...

Child... you... you cannot see.

What do you mean... denial courses through my body.

I hear people talking, but ignore them and find myself crying loudly as I search my mind for what could have happened.

I feel hands touch my face and I yelp and flinch away.

"(Y/n)..." another pause, by sniffling. Smile?

"Smile?"

"Yeah... its me I'm here for you." He answers me quickly.

"Smile... I'm scared." I answered truthfully. I had always relied on my sight in a fight, and it took over most of my life.

Stretching my arm out, I flinch back when a hand grabs mine.

"(Y/n)!" Someone screams. All of a sudden I'm grabbing a paw and I'm surrounded by people.

I can't see where they are, and my head turns aimlessly. Closing my eyes, the darkness stays the same. I exhale slowly, not listening to the many questions being thrown at me.

When I open my eyes, I can slightly see an outline of people.

"Sally..." I whisper, grabbing the small silhouettes outline. She gasps.

I have a brief headach.

Slendy?

I am just seeing how you saw her. Magnificent, child.

I grab Sally and pull her onto the bed with me. Hugging her tightly, I wonder how this all will change.

"How am I blind?" I ask no one in particular.

"We don't know. Ej was removing the bullet from your thigh and all of a sudden you scream, and your bright blue eyes turned into glassy (f/c) eyes." The person says.

"Who said that.. lj?" I ask, wondering if my hearing was damaged.

"Yes it was me." He replies.

I reach out, and touch a few faces. A couple had masks, but they moved them aside. All the faces had tears running down.

"Don't cry, please. I'm still alive. I'd rather live and lose my sight than die and gain it." I smile at them all. Smile whimpers and presses his muzzle into my face.

With a lot of help, I manage to get out of the bed.

Everyone leaves except Smile, Seed, and Jane.

She keeps silent as she helps me change, and I feel ashamed I can't do it myself. In my current condition I'm not used to it yet.

Jane wants to take me to my room, but I push her away gently and say I need to do it myself. Seed sticks his shoulder under my hand and starts leading me to my room.

As I pass the living room I hear whispering. I blink tears away. No. Not now, not ever again.

Stairs now. Be careful, (y/n).

A flash of the stairs goes through my mind. Confused, I stumble. Catching myself by grabbing Seed's mane, no doubt hurting him.
Sorry Seed... i say, holding onto his shoulder again.

Its pkay, as long as you are aright, (y/n). He answers. I still feel guilty.

I walk up the wide stairway, Seed at my side. At the top my tail twitches back and forth and my ears twitch in different directions in happiness. I smile, knowing where I am now.

Hands outstretched, I feel someone watching and I grin widely. My hand closes around the last door in the hallway. Opening it inwards, I can imagine my room. Stepping onto the soft carpet, I imagine the shade of (f/c) it was. Counting my steps, I walk to the bed.

11 steps from the door.

Going back to the doorway, I recount to make sure. Still 11.

Taking a deep breath, I turn and count towards my dresser.

17 steps from the doorway.

I recount. Still 17.

I count from my bed. 6 steps. Duh... I think. Next I count to my bathroom. 13 steps from the doorway, 18 from my bed.

Sighing, I plop down o my bed. Thinking, I call for my next door neighbor.

"Toby!" I cry out.

Toby runs in and stumbles.

"Y-yes?"

"Can you help me set an alarm for 7:30 in the morning everyday?" I ask, gesturing to the alarm clock. He doesn't answer, but moves forward and fiddles with it.

"Please answer..." I whimper. Arms wrap around me.

"I'm-m s-sorry-y..." Toby mumbles, then leaves. Sighing sadly, I roll over and face where the wall is. Seed climbs in beside me, and I close my eyes. I wish I could remember so many more colors.

My mind wanders and I dream of sitting on a beach, the ocean sparkling a deep blueish green color. Fish of all colors swim in the shallows. The clouds were lit up perfectly as the sun set, creating a warm glow.

A tree beside me has golden, brown, and all shades of green for leaves. The clouds are pink, fading into pale gray.
I sniffle. The sand beneath me seems like its glowing. My short black hair sways in the slight breeze.

I sigh and lean back onto the tree, watching the sun set slowly.

I hope this dream will happen every night, so I don't forget any colors.
