Four Years In The Future

Chapter 6
(Four years later)
Rachels pov:
"Annie come on your dads on his way!" I yelled to my 6 year old daughter from downstairs.

"Coming mommy!" She yelled from upstairs.

Its been four whole years since Finn Hudson walked back into me and my daughters life and since then a lot has changed. For one, Anna is no longer a baby she's five years old and smart as a whip. Also Finn and I set up an arrangement for her so we can both see her. She goes with him during the weekend and I see her during the week. Finn and I get along just fine and so do Jill and I . Jills nice , I mean she's not really a horrible person in fact she's kind of my friend. It doesn't matter though because I have Sam , who is now my fiancé. I love him so much and I know what you're thinking , how did this happen? Well over time we got really , really , close and it was only a matter of time before we got together and then a year later he popped the question and now we're engaged. Anyway Finn and I are great though, we make it work and it's not awkward anymore, and sure sometimes we fight but thats a part of co-parenting . I still work as an assistant for my boss and its fun but I just wanna create music but I can't at least not yet. I was down stairs making breakfast when Sam came down and wrapped his arms around me .

"Goodmorning beautiful." He said kissing my cheek.

"Goodmorning cutie." I said smirking.

"So last night was fun." He said.

"Yeah it was." I said blushing.

"Maybe tonight we can..." but before he could finish the door bell rang.

"Thats probably Finn." I said.

"Right, I'll get it." He said.

"And I'll get Anna." I said and went upstairs. "Anna come on your dad is here." I told her.

"I don't wanna go to kindergarten ." She complained.

"What do you mean you love school." I said.

"No I loved pre k but I know I'm going to hate kindergarten ." She told me.

I sighed bent down to her level and said,

"Listen, I know you're scared but you have nothing to be worried about. Kindergarten is just like pre-k but a little harder." I said.

"What if no one likes me?" She asked me.

"Trust me , they will love you because you are the sweetest little girl I have ever met." I said.

"Pinky promise?" She asked me.

I smiled wrapped my pinky around hers and said,

"Pinky promise." I told her and we went down stairs.

"Daddy!" She yelled happily seeing Finn , running to him.

"Theres my big girl, ready for kindergarten?" He asked her smiling in his suit.

"Yup all ready." She said.

"Wait I need my kiss." I said and she gave me and Sam a kiss on our cheeks.

"Okay so I'll pick her up and make sure she eats and take her to dance tonight right?" Finn asked me.

"Yup and I will pick her up at your place." I said.

"Sounds good. Okay kiddo lets go." Finn said.

"Bye mommy, bye Trouty Mouth." Anna said walking out the door with Finn .

"We really need to tell Finn not to teach her to call me that." Sam said kind offended.

"Awe I love you and your big lips ." I said and kissed him.

"I'll see ya tonight okay?" He said.

"Okay." I said and we both left out the door .
