Walking past the front gate, John sighed.
"So much has happened today that my head is spinning." John mumbled to himself.
He looked down at his watch and groaned.
"Do buses even still run at 5:45 p.m.?" he wondered to himself.
He looked at the Bus lot and was happily surprised to see a few buses still left. He walked towards them thinking to himself.
"It makes sense that buses still run since there are clubs and sports that run later then this." He stopped at the nearest bus and got on as the doors opened.
"Five minutes until departure"
The bus driver announced on the speaker. John relaxed his shoulders as he climbed to the top of the stairs. He began to walk to the back as he usually does, noticing a lot of people from the orchestra sitting on the bus as well.
As he approached the seat, he noticed a small, sad figure in the back chair.
It was Chris... John stopped before reaching the back seat, and just as Chris was about to look his direction, John quickly sat in the nearest seat, heart beating fast at remembering the tears and anger in his friends eyes.
He sat and stared at the floor of the bus, remembering the hug he had received in the practice room, a slight blush crossing his face. He shook his head and sat up in his chair. Just as he was about to get lost in thought, a small, petit voice spoke out next to him.
"You're the boy from Orchestra."
She said in a lilting tone, almost inaudible.
"Wha...oh, yea. My name is John."
He said in return, reaching his hand out to greet her. She paused in hesitation and drew away from John with an uncomfortable frown. John pulled back slowly, slightly hurt by the gesture, but decided to not dwell on it.
"What is your name?"
John decided to ask to break the tension. The girl slowly leaned back into the seat, looking a little more at ease.
"My name is Luna" she said, her voice a little louder now. John looked at the girl with slight mystery. Such a small fragile looking girl. She had long bright blond hair, to the point where it was almost white. She had pale skin and small feet along with a small nose and thin figure, John looked at her eyes and was suprised to see a deep shade of blue, like the ocean was staring back at him, a slight blush spread across the girls face as John realized he had been staring at her for a long time.
He then leaned away and attempted to continue the conversation.
"Have we met somewhere before?" He asked with slight embarrassment showing on his face.
The girl smiled slightly and said
"Yea, less then an hour ago. I sat next to you when you played."
John felt mortified.
He had completely forgot his surroundings and even neglected to get to know atleast the few people around him, or atleast remember their faces.
"oh yea...Sorry."
John said, forcing a smile, scratching the back of his head. The number of times he had been embberassed today was too many for his liking. He decided to change the topic and try to get information from her instead.
"Do you know the first violin well?"
John asked, being a little to obvious on his attempt to change the topic. The girl paid it no mind and answered in honest.
