Hogwarts Letter/Diagon Alley

Faline's POV:

I woke up early today, because I was excited to get my Hogwarts letter and to go to 'Diagon Alley'. I made breakfast (bacon, eggs, and toast) and heated the kettle for Uncle Remus's morning tea. Speak of the devil and he shall appear I thought as Uncle Remus entered the kitchen.

Just then a barn owl flew in through the open window landing on the back of a chair. I got the letters from it and gave it a few owl treats before it left. As Uncle Remus plated the food and poured his tea. We sat at the table while ate our breakfast and had our drinks (I had a glass of milk). Uncle Remus opened his letter from the Ministry about the job he applied for. Judging by the look on his face he didn't get it.

I then opened my letter and it said:

Dear Miss Feline Lily Potter,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accept of Hogwarts School Witchcraft and Wizardry. Included in this letter is the list of school supplies you will need this year. We wish to hear from you by the 31st of Jult if you are going to attend. If you are the train will leave from Kings Cross Station at 11:00am on the 1st of September.

"Are you ready to go?" Uncle Remus asked putting hid cloak on. I nodded and put on my cloak heading toward the fireplace with the supplies list. I can now finally access the account my parents left my big brother and I when they died. 

We went to the bank and got my money from mine and my brothers vault. We went to Madam Malkins to get my clothes sorted out. Then went to to get the things I needed for Potions (phials, scale, & cauldron) and Astronomy (telescope). We got some cat and phoenix things from the Magical Pet Shop.

Now we were heading toward the book shop where there were a bunch of people crowded inside. According to the sign in the window some famous author is signing books. I didn't care about that and went to get my books, while Uncle Remus waited outside. As I was heading to the counter. I heard someone say 'Harry Potter'.

Curious I went upstairs to see want was happening. When I got there I saw my big brother getting a picture taken with blonde haired wizard. "Can't even go into a book store with getting a photo taken" someone sneered behind me. I turned around and saw a boy around my age with bleach blonde hair and grey eyes.

"He didn't ask for it, so leave him alone" I said before leaving. I paid for my books and meet Uncle Remus outside. We went to Olivanders to get my first and hopefully only wand. Olivander appeared and measured my wand (right) arm. I tried three wands, before I finally found the right one. Which was willow 10 & 1/4 inch with a Phoenix Feather core. It turned out they got the feather from Jean 5 years ago. When she was only a year old, so that would make her 6 years old now. The wand was good for Charms and Transfiguration.

We got an ice-cream before heading back home. He told me to all my books at least once before going to school. This annoyed me as I did not want to read Lockheart's books until school started. I was fine reading my other course books though. I decided to take turns reading one course book and then a Lockheart book and so on.
