"Leave some hugs for us too, ladies..." Karam commented.
"Awwwwe... Come here, Karam... You are looking so different..." I mocked in a very girly kind of voice, just like that of a Barbie doll. He engulfed me into a hug.
Where is Deb....?
Sure enough, I saw my Goblu aka Deb aka Debopam Roy walking over to us from the northeast.
"Hey, Goblu... I thought you totally forgot me. You don't even seem eager to meet me...." I scolded Deb, pinching his cheeks.
"How can I forget my Anji... Haan?" He simply replied, winking at me. I smiled and slapped his upper arm playfully. "Gosh..I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too Goblu."I said and hugged him tighter, to come across a familiar feeling.
Whenever I am in Deb's arms I feel safe.
"GOD!! Air... I... am gonna get choked...!" I snorted sarcastically, "Deb... Are you working out or something?"
"Sometimes..." He arrogantly twitched his biceps, showing off his newly built body. He winked at mischievously while no one saw.
"Enough of this emotional crap. Let's get going or else Deb's mom will think that I took you with me." Sanju said.
"Hey Anju... where is your luggage?"Karam asked.
'Oh Shit! I totally forgot. Where's Arav?'
I looked about like a lost puppy, my eyes searching for Arav. And there he stood, struggling with the luggage.
"Guys, meet Arav." I said pointing towards the guy who was rolling down our luggage to where we stood. "And Arav... These are my friends."
Arav came forward and exchanged a few words with others; and after a while, Karam and Deb took our luggage and wheeled it out of the airport.

"Aye Anju, beta..." Deb's mom called, "you finally came back. I thought you didn't remember my fish curry and hence you were not coming."
"Aunty, is it even possible that I can forget you and your fish curry..." I leaned forward to whisper into her ears, "Fact is..... You were the one whom I used to miss the most..." I spoke in a serious low voice to emphasize my point. Aunty laughed at my remark, and the laughter that ensued was contiguous. All of us were enjoying the reunion.
I turned to pass the bowl of dal to Karam when my eyes landed on Arav, that is when I noticed his discomfort. I kept looking at him, waiting for him to look back. He looked up from his plate and tried to feign a smile at Aunty who was sitting in front of him. And then his eyes met mine. He let out a sigh, showing his uneasiness. I averted my eyes and shrugged off his thought from my mind. And back to our conversation, I went. We talked, laughed, ate and rejoiced our old memories.
After completing the main course, Aunty brought in my favorite, Gulab Jamuns.
"Aunty, Wow... It's so delicious... You know you are awesome..." I moaned in delight, "You are the best cook I've ever met." I concluded.
"I knew you would like it, but I didn't make this, Anshi made these especially for you."
My head snapped towards Anshi, "O.M.G!! Jeez... You made this...?! You are awesome dear... Just amazing... It seems you have grown quite old." I teased, "but really, these are just amazing."
