Chapter 9:

~Rick's P.O.V~

I can't believe Daryl did that but he got us out of Woodbury. While we walk near a train Michonne showed up crawling from under it, This got me mad so I got out my gun and aimed it at her saying"Where the in hell were you..!" Maggie circled around her with her gun."Put your hands up..and turn around..Turn around!" Michonne slowly turned around with bother her hands up I put my gun to her head as I grabbed a hold of her sword slowly taking it out of its holster. Once I slowly backed away from her I asked "Get what ya came here for..?" "Wheres the rest of your people"She asked ignoring my question."They got Oscar.."Glenn blurted out holding a gun at her as Maggie spoke"They've got Daryl have you seen him?" Michonne just looked at Maggie then me."If anything happens to him-I brought you here to save them.."She spoke interrupting me."Thanks for the help.." Michonne looked at me dead in the eye's saying "You need help..getting them back to the prison..? Or..go back in there for Daryl..either way you need me.." "Help Glenn and his friends go take Nicole to the car..the rest of us lets go get Daryl back.."

~Daryl's P.O.V~

I woke up a while ago and now I'm being dragged by some of the Governors men I'm guessing with a sack on my head so I cant see. So after a while of walking we stopped, I start hearing loud noises from a group of people but one voice that stood out the most was the Governors. "Merle! The man I counted on..The man I trusted..He led them here! He let them in!..You lied..you betrayed us all!" That's when we started to move again. So I try to fight my way out of there grip while we walk until they pushed me."This is one of there terrorist!" The Governor yelled as someone grabbed me and yanked the sack off my head."Merle's own brother!"It was the Governor that had grabbed me and as I looked around I saw Merle staring at me and..Andrea?

The Governor let go and yelled to the group of people surrounding us "Now what should we do with them?" I heard multiple people say "Kill them!" and "Kill them now!" The Governor just walked up to Merle saying"You wanted your brother..now you got him.." With that, we walked away back to his group of men or should I say 'Guards'. Andrea ran up to the Governor to only be stopped by his men saying"Let him go! Phillip! He's my friend!" It's not up to me anymore..the people have spoken...I asked you were your loyalty's lie..you said here... well prove it..prove it to us all..brother against brother..a fight to the death!" The Governor spoke as he walked between me and Merle cutting my bindings along the way."Phillip don't do this.."I heard Andrea beg.

"Y'all know me!"Merle spoke us raising his arms"I'm gonna do whatever I gotta do to prove!"He continued as he punched me in the gut knocking me on the ground."That my loyalty to this town!"He spoke again as he kicked me in the stomach so I punched him in the jaw. As he stumbled backward, Walkers on some sort of leash thing started to come out. I tackled him to only be pushed to the ground again. Merle grabbed my vest as I put my hands around his neck saying"You really think this asshole's gonna let you go?" "Just follow my lead little brotha ..were getting outta this..we'll see Nicole again right now!"Merle spoke as he pulled me up and we go back to back shoving any walkers that got to close away. I even shoved one into a small group of people. That's when gunfire broke out and smoke grenades."Stay close!" I heard my brother yell at me as the fog thicken's."Merle c'mon!" I spoke starting to run off until I saw a flashlight which I'm assuming is Rick and some guy using my crossbow. So I grabbed my crossbow and ran towards Rick"Let's go!" I hollered to Merle. As we go close to Rick he spoke"Daryl lets go! go! go!"

~Nicole's P.O.V~

As I start to wake up I hear yelling from the group from inside a car. So I started to get up to only have pain all throughout my body, but I don't care I need to see whats going on. So as I try to get up again dealing with the pain I got out of the car holding onto the side to help me walk to see both my brother walking away from the group with two bags..."What about Nicole!" Rick spoke. Daryl stopped."She'll understand"What does he mean..?"So you're just gonna leave her Daryl?!"Rick asked."Like I said...She'll understand Rick. So take good care of her..keep her safe."Daryl spoke again walking towards Merle. "So yer just gonna leave me again..."I spoke as my voice sounded weak and quiet. Everyone looked back at me, even Daryl and Merle."Nic.."Daryl spoke shocked. "Like all the other time's.."I muttered,"You two would always leave me!"I try to yell but to only hurt my side making me stumble to my knee's. Hunter and Conner immediately ran to my side to help me but I got up on my own."Nic..I'm sorry but I gotta go with him. His blood." Now that's it.."Well, I'm fucking blood to Dare!
