He was cute, he was tall, he was nice, he was just, everything. My head still kinda hurt from barging into him but I didn't care. All I cared about was him at this moment.

"So, uh, what's your name?" He said.
"Faith." I said while daydreaming about the boy. "Faith. That's so beautiful. Especially for a beautiful girl like you."

I started blushing badly and he saw and gave a little smile. "Thanks. What's yours?"
"Clinton." He said. "I like that name also. A very handsome name for a handsome guy."

He laughed. Oh, his laugh was so cute. "So are you from around here?" Clinton asked.
"Yeah, but it's been kinda hard lately because my dad just-" I couldn't say it. It made me want to cry. But I remembered what mom said, he wants me to be happy. So here I am.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. How about we go outside and sit on the bench." He said.
"Yeah, that's fine." So we went outside and sat on the bench and talked.

"If it makes you feel better, my dad died just a year ago and it was hard for me too, but the day I figured out about it, my mom told me that he would want me to be happy cause he's better and he's still with me in my heart."

"Oh my god, my mom told me the exact same thing." I said kinda shocked. "Well I guess they both know the truth." He said smiling. God, he was so perfect and so was his smile. He made me feel better and he made me happy.

"So, do you want to go out sometime? Like, uh, on a date?" I could tell he said that nervously. But I definitely couldn't say no. "Yeah I would like that." I said laughing a little. "Great! Um, I might need your number too." I just laughed.

So we gave each other our phone numbers and went to our houses and started getting ready for this wonderful date. I didn't know what kind of date it was so I just went upstairs to my room and found this cute black/gray t-shirt with some cute simple white shorts. I had no clue what I was going to do with my hair.

My mom came in my room and saw that I was in a good mood. "What's got your so cheered up for? And why are you getting in cute clothes?" "Mom, you won't believe what happened when I was at the mall. I met this cute guy and he's taking me on a date tonight."

"Oh sweetheart that's wonderful!" "Yeah I know but I don't know what to do with my hair." I said. "I'll put it in a side fishtail braid. Now go, go to your date!" Before I went out the door I turned around to my mom.

"I love you mom, thanks for doing my hair."
"I love you Faith. Now go have fun on this date." She said. "Okay, bye." And to the date I went.
