Chapter 2

Alfie's POV

I continue to look ahead, towards the teacher. Occasionally I look over to where Liz is sitting. On the other side of her is Felix, Seán, and Mark. I take out a paper from my bag and begin to write on it.

Felix,

What do I do? I'm stuck on this girl and want her in my life. Seán tried to reassure me by saying there's many fish in the sea but none of them are like her.

Alfie

I put down my pen and pass the note to Felix. I see that he reads it and starts to write on it.

Alfie,

I think she's great too but if she's taken, she's taken. Maybe when she's single? Besides you have Zoe. At least you have somebody unlike Seán and Mark.

Brofist.

I look over the words again and again. What if the others try to take her? What if someone hurts her. The thought just bothers me. I'm so lost in my thoughts that I barely realize the bell rung and were out for the day. Liz comes up to me. "Guess what!" I smile then look directly into her eyes. "What?" She looks so excited she's ready to burst. "I came up with my YouTube name! Its HearLizRoar!" Hearing that she came up with her YouTube name within a day makes me smile. "It took me weeks to make my name up and you come up with yours in a day. Unbelievable." She laughs then shakes her head. "Well when I'm mad its pretty much like me roaring, so that's how my name came to be!" She patted my shoulder then walked out. Man this girl is tugging at me. Mark comes up to me with a mischievous look. "You like her." He says with his 'sexy' face on. "N-no." I say, my face turning red. "That's what I said about Zoe." Mark says making me mad. "You did not like Zoe and you never will!" He laughs. "Oh, Alfie, you're just too gullible." I give him the death stare but lighten up my look. "You know what Alfie, if you like her, tell her. No need to keep it bottled up inside." I nod my head. "Thanks Mark."
