Chapter 4 Hospitals and questions

Edwards POV

How did she do it, she puzzles me even more then she did before, I mean, what human can stop a car without touching it, even I can't do that.

But apart from puzzling me, she also scares me. Even though I ate to admit it, Rosalie was right, she is getting to close, I can't allow that, I can't gee her hurt.

But something pulls me back to her everytime and that how I found myself at the hospital, arguing with Rosalie, worrying about Alexa, again.

Alexa POV

I was sitting on the hospital bed waiting for the result, I newi was fine, an I was anxious to get out of here. A, because I hate hospitals (which is weird cause I've spent so much time in them, and B, because I really didn't want to get stuck talking to Edward.

I heard the door open and looked up to see Dr Cullen enter, he smiled at me and said.

"You where right, nothings wrong with you, you may go," I smiled and jumped off the bed.

"Great thanks Doc," I said and I skipped out of the door as I did I heard a faint chuckle behind me. I carried on skipping until I accidently knocked into someone, I was about to say sorry when I realized who I had bumped into, Edward Cullen.

"Um hi," he said, I knew what was coming next. "Can we talk?" I hesitated but then eventually agreed, not having an excuse. He led me down the hall away from the other Cullens, who were starring after us.

"How did you do it?" he asked making me sigh.

"I can't tell you," I said not meeting his eyes.

"Why not!" he practically yelled, "you can just do something like that and not explain it to me!" then I hit boiling point, what can I say, I get angry easily.

"What about you huh? How did you get from one side of the parking lot to the other in a matter of seconds, explain that!" I sighed trying to calm down. "We shouldn't be friends anymore Edward," and with that i walked away.

I looked outside and saw it was raining, great. I reluctently walked out side and started on my way home, seeing as I'd left my truck at school. As I was walking down the street a car pulled up beside me.

"Get in the car Alexa," it was, surprise surprise, Edward.

"No." I said bluntly and carried on walking, he rolled his car after me.

"Dont be silly Alexa, you'll freeze," he said, I just rolled my

eyes and idnored him. "If you don't get in the car right know I'll use force," I glared

at him.

"Go on then," he stopped the car and got out, gently but forcefully grabbed my hands (woah his hands were cold) and pushed me into the car, I was shocked, i didn't think he'd acctually do it. When he I was seated and we were driving I spoke.

"Just take me to school i left my truck there."

"No, I'm taking you home, I'll drop your car off at your house later."

I didn't say anything, I couldn't be bothered to fight.

"You know kidnapping is illegle," I said.

"Its now kidnapping if your willing to come,"

"Its not willing, you dragged me in."

"Would you stop being so difficult," he muttered.

"Only if you tell me how you can run so fast."

"No."

"In really good at figuring out mysteries, so you have no chance in hideing it."

"We'll see about that," he said quietly.

I just rolled my eyes.

"Hey i was just wondering, why aren't your parents here, they must be worried?"

"Um well, they can't be here, they're at work, they work quiet alot," I said and he nodded in understanding.

the rest of the car ride was silent.

He dropped me of and I quickley went to jump out when he stopped me.

"Wait I need your key," I quickley gave it to him and left the car, I went inside and immediatly started crying, I hated lying to him. But then again he was lying to me aswell, I will find out what he is, I will.
