Chapter 6 La Push

Alexa POV.

I decided I'd go into school the next day because A, I had already missed loads of school and B, I didn't want people to think I'm a coward. I got out of my truck and Jess and Angela were immediatly by my side, linking arms.

"OMG! Are you ok, we didn't think you were gonna be in today, I mean, what she said was so mean. Even her brothers and sister thinks so to, you should have seen them. Even Emmett was shouting at her, but Edward, wow, you should have see him when he came back from chasing you, he bagan shouting and screaming saying how she'd been out of order and that he wouldn't talk to her until she appologized, Alice stayed silent through the whole of it, she looked like she wanted to cry but she couldn't, Jasper stayed silent aswell, glaring at Rosalie, oh that girl is evil, I swear..." I cut of Jessicas rambling.

"Jess I get it, thanks. Um, I'm fine, I'm over it," it was half truthful, I mean I was grateful she was in my side and trying to help but I still wasn't completely over it, it hurt , but it lestened a little when Jess told me the others weren't happy with what she said, then the Cullens came into view.

They where the same as always, stranding around there cars looking moody, except Rosalie was further away from the car, glaring at me. I ducked my head as I felt tears come to my eyes and steared Angela and Jess to the main entrance, I heard Edward shout my name, but I ignored him. We couldn't be friends anymore, it was dangerous, no matter how much it pained me.

It had been a long day, but I'd got through it, Stan, the guy Angela sat next to in biology, kindley swapped seats with me, he glared at Edward the whole time. It seemed the Cullens were the most hated people in school, even some teachers gave them a hard time, especially Rosalie.

When I got to my truck I heard Mikes voice calling after so j turned around to talk to him. When he got to me he was slightly out of breath and took some breaths before he spoke to me.

"I forgot to ask you, a few of us are going La Push tomorrow, seeing as it's a non-pupil day, do you wanna come, you don't have to surf you can sit in the truck with angela, so come, please...?" I hesitated at first but the. I thought, these guys are my friends, I never go out with them, so, why not.

"Yeah sure I'd love to go to this, La Push with you, where is it?"

"Oh don't worry Ang and Jess will pick you up, let's say 11 tomorrow ok?"

"Ok see you then," I told him my address and then jumped in my truck but before I drove of I saw the Cullens staring at, but this time I glared at the, I couldn't take it anymore, they looked completely shocked, good.

The next day I was up and ready for 11 for Angela and Jess to pick me up and we drove to the beach. It was a nice car ride, full of chatting and music, all in all it was lovely. When we got there the boys where already there along with another group of boys I have never seen before.

"Hey girls, this is Jacob Quil and Embry, guys this-" be put his arm around me, "is Alexa," I shock there hands and blushed when I shook Jacobs, he was almost as cute as Edward, Wait, No I will not think of Edward, I won't.

"So let's surf," there was a round of applause from e everyone but me, Angela and Jacob. I turned to him with a questioning look.

"Arent you surfing?"

"No, thought I'd stay here with you," this made me blush, obviously Angela saw it asshe quickley excused herself, making me glare at her and blush even more, I looked at Jacob and saw him blushing aswell.

"So um, have you always lived here? I've never seen you around before?" he asked.

"No I just moved here from England a month ago," he nodded and we lapsed into silence. "I don't know how they can go in the water, it must be freezing."

"Not a big fan of the cold then."

"Oh no I love the cold, I did grow up in England but the water, that's another story."

"Then why come to the beach if you hate the water?" Jacob said, starting to walk along the shore I followed him.

"Well I can hardly call this a beach, a beach is sand sea and sunshine, this is rocks sea and clouds," he laughed, our hands brushed and we turned our heads away, blushing.

"Ya I can see what you mean." we laughed again, we heard a scream a turned our heads to see Jess running awayfron Mike, who was holding something disgusting.

"Its so obvious they like eachother," I said and Jacob nodded his head in agreement.

"You should try and get them together," He said, I grinned.

"I may need some help you know?" ok so I was flirting, who cares he's cute.

"Well you know, I wouldn't mind helping," he was flirting back, I blushed.

"I can't wait."

When it was time to go home Jacob insisted on giving me a ride which I happily agreed to. It was a good ride, we had some music on while we talked, getting to know eachother. I found out he was 16 and did alot of garage work, I also figured out his father was the man I bought his truck from.

When we got to my house I was surprised to see a silver Volvo on my drive and Edward leaning against it waiting for me. I got out of Jacobs car and slammed the door, he turned around a d immediatly glared at Jacob, he was about to say something when I interupted him.

"What are you doing here Edward, I don't recall inviting you here?" he looked at the floor shepishly.

"I wanted to talk to you." I sighed and turned to Jacob and smiled.

"Thanks for the ride home Jacob it was fun," and I hugged, he gave me a slip of paper and mouthed, call me. I smiled and nodded and he got into his car and drove away. I turned to Edward and glared coldly. I walked inside my house and he followed. We walked indoors and walked straight to the kitchen and we stared at eachother, I was the first to talk.
