Chapter 9- Lets Go To The Carnival

Alexa POV

And then, without any hesitation, he kissed me.

I slowly but hesitantly started kissing him back and I felt an electric shock shoot through my body, it wasn't unpleasant, no, it was acctually very welcome. I slowly moved my arms around his neck, brushing my fingers through his hair, and pulled him closer, I felt him smile into the kiss. He brushed his tounge across my bottem lip making me shiver in joy, though his lips where a little hard and unbelivably cold, they where still perfect because they where his.

Finally I needed oxygen so I reluctantly pulled my lips away, feeling alittle sad at the loss, and wanting to pull them back, but I couldn't, I new we needed to talk, and by the look of his face, so did he.

"Edward," I said almost breathlessly, but before I could say anymore, he interupted.

"Look, I know what you are, I know what the conciquence of this is, but I don't care, I know you meant what you said before, but so did I, I don't care what my family says, what your family says, just tell me that you don't want me, please," I looked into his eyes and saw he was almost pleading me to say I wanted him, but I don't know."

"Edward," he must have heard the uncertanty in my voice as he gently grabbed my face, making me look into his eyes.

"Please Alexa, please, I know it's going to be difficult but we can get through it, together, please, I have waited for you for so long, your the only thing I can think about, please, I, I don't know what I'd do without you," I found myself crying, wow, he really wanted, needed me, noone had ever loved me so much before, except for him, but with him, it was just sparks, with Edward, I felt like I couldn't live without him, suddenly, I new my answer.

"Of course I want you," I said, making him smile. Then he bent down and slowly kissed me, making those electric shocks shoot through my body, something I will never get tired of.

I sighed happily as we broke away from eachother, I looked at him and saw him smiling happily, his eyes glistening.

"Do you want to go to the carnival?" he said suddenly, I raised an eyebrow and smirked.

"The carnival, you want to take me to the carnival?" he chuckled and nodded. "Alright, I'd love to go to the carnival with you."

After I had gotten dressed and eaten something Edward and I went to the carnival in port Angeles, which we soon got to due to Edwards mental driving.

The carnival looked amazing, as it was already 7 o clock, all the lights were on and it looked amazing. It was a classic carnival with a big wheel, bumper cars, a ghost train, a merry' go' round, a candy floss stall, an ice cream stall and even a hot dog stool. I grabbed Edwards hand after he bought some tickets for the rides and dragged him to the first ride I saw, the ghost train.

"Wow, your excited," he said.

"Yeah, I've never acctually been to a carnival before," I replied once we got to the ride.

"Youve never been to a carnival, wow, are you pare ts seriously that busy?" I sighed, I had to lie, again.

"Yeah, but I don't mind, they really are great parents," I felt tears come to my eyes as I said this, and they didnt go unnoticed by Edward. We stepped into the carriage an it headed of, I laughed when I saw a vampire about to bite a human when a question came to my mind.

"Hey, I was wondering, how come you and your familys eyes arnt red?"

"Well, we don't eat humans, we acctually only eat animals like deer and elk, my personal favorite is mountain lion. We call ourselves vegeterians, there is one other coven like us, the Denali Coven, we visit then every so often. So what about you, what's a witch doing in forks?" I looked away from him when he asked that, great, I had to lie again.

"Well, my parents, well, they got a job and, um, wanted to get away for awhile, so, yeah," I winced when I saw that it was a horrible lie, and when I saw Edwards eyebrows raise, I new he saw it to, but luckily he didn't comment, I new I had to tell him someday, but not today.

We got of the train and went on some other rides, until finally it was time to go home, I was to tired to walk anymore. When we got back to my house Edward carried me in and up the stairs into my room. I didn't bother changing, I just took of my shoes and jacket then climbed into bed. I looked up to see Edward still there and I looked at him curiously.

"What do you normally do at night?" I asked knowing vampires don sleep.

"Well I normally either read, watch tv, listen to music, run of hunt, why?" he said looking at me curiously.

"Um well, I was wondering if you wanted to stay tonight, you don't to-"

"Id love to," I smiled and scooted over patting the space next to me. He smiled back and sat on top of the duvet next to me, I rested my head on his chest and fell asleep.
