Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing
Tired of living like a blind man
Sick of sight without a sense of feeling. And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me of what I really am
This is how you remind me of what I really amIt's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breakingAnd I've been wrong,
I've been down,
Been to the bottom of every bottleThese five words in my head,
Scream are we having fun yet,
Yeah, yeah-"Argh, shut the hell up!" I yelled to my alarm as my favorite song, 'How you remind me' by Nickelback blasted in my ears. Why did I choose my favorite song as my alarm, it's making me hate it. Argh school, I hate it. It sounds like I hate everything, I don't. Well not really.
Anyways I'm late to school but to be honest I bunk most of my lessons anyway because I can't be bothered. I mean school started an hour ago but I don't care.
I climbed out of bed into my bathroom and nearly screamed as I looked at the monster in the mirror. Ugh, disgusting. I took a shower and changed into my uniform. The school uniform is supposed to be girls in skirts with a white blouse and tie and blazer. My uniform is black leggings, a white blouse and the tie. Sorry, not sorry but it ain't the law to wear a blazer and skirt is it?
I don't wear make up unless its a special occasion and school is far from it, so once I was dressed, I slid down the banister into the kitchen and started grilling some bacon. Nothing better than a bacon sarnie for brekkie.
Oh my god, isn't the smell of cooked bacon just so dreamy. No, I'm not weird for thinking that, you're weird if you disagree with me.Once I had taken my time eating my breakfast and savoring every minute of it, I grabbed my phone and some money. Yeah I know you're probably thinking what about your bag with your books. Well you should know by now that I don't care about them. I jumped in my bright red Ferrari and zoomed off on my way to school.
I twisted my car into a space and stepped out of my car feeling the sun rays hitting my skin. I pulled my sunglasses down onto my eyes and started walking towards the school building. Eugh, I hate this place. It was nearly lunch so I just stood, leaning against the lockers till the bell went. Soon, all the little nerds started scurrying out of their classes with their books held to their chests. No surprise that my best friend Ryan came out last.
"What did ya do this time?" I asked him the second he stepped out the class.
"Nothing, just told the teacher to shut the hell up because nobody cares when she asked me a question." He replied bluntly like it's no biggie that he just said that to the teacher, because it's not, he does it all the time.
"Haha and let me guess she tried to give you a detention." I said already knowing what he was going to say next.
"Yep but I ain't going and I told her to go fuck herself." He simply replied as we started to stroll towards the cafeteria. We don't need to rush because we don't need to get the school food. It's disgusting about sums it up.
"And how you aren't expelled already, I will never know" I chuckled as we sat down at our table and I pulled out a packet of crisps from my bag.
"Believe me they've tried but I think you can guess what I said to that" he said.
"Oh, can't I just" I commented rolling my eyes.
I was now sitting in maths learning about trigonometry. I was sitting next to Laura who was pretty cool she wasn't a popular but she wasn't a loner. She was actually really nice, she chatted with me and helped me with the work since I wasn't paying any attention.
I didn't mind this class because I liked Laura, the teacher weren't that bad and I don't mind maths. Even though I bunk school, I am smart.
"Right guys, your homework is to finish the classwork and complete all questions on page 238. It's due on Wednesday." the teacher told us and the whole class groaned. Yeah, I know I said I'm smart but that definitely doesn't mean I am doing that homework.
Sorry, but school is the place for work, not home. Home is for chilling and fun, not work. Homework is one of the worst words that someone could have invented.
As I was walking out of class, I heard a bang. I looked around and I saw the schools player, Jack and his girl dog of a girlfriend, Chloe. Then I looked down to the floor where they had pushed a girl into the locker. They were shouting at her and being so out of order. I stormed over and as he was about to slap her again, I grabbed his fist with one hand and flew my other hand around and punched him square in the jaw.
"What the hell do you think you're doing Jack?" I screamed in his face.
"What does it look like, I'm giving this little rat what she deserves!" he yelled back.
"Oh really, and why does she deserve this? What has she ever done to you?" I question as I take another step towards him. He cowardly backs away.
"Huh? Backing away not so tough now are ya? And that proves my point she ain't done nought to you so leave her the hell alone!" I yelled getting angrier by the minute.
He leaned down to my ear "You better watch your back" he muttered through gritted teeth into my ear before he wrapped his arm around Chloe's waist and walked away.
It was then that I turned to the poor girl and I saw her for the first time, and my god was she beautiful.
