I woke up with Ugo's arms wrapped around me as he was sleeping. I tried to quietly get out of bed but his arm tightened around me. I turned to look at his face as he was in the most peaceful state. I caressed his cheek and kissed him on the forehead before wriggling out of his grip and heading to the kitchen. It was around 9:15 am so I got out eggs and other breakfast foods and started cooking. I was in the middle of making pancakes when I felt two arms snake around my waist. I turned my head to see him smiling at me. I kissed him and turned back to finish the pancakes.
"Good morning," I said.
"Morning, do you need help with anything?" He asked.
"Hmmm, yeah you can cook the bacon." I replied.
"I mean, I guess." he joked as he walked over to the stove. He was walking pretty funny and I could tell he wa sore from last night. I smirked at the thought.
We were sitting in the living room eating breakfast and watching the France vs. Germany game. We were both cheering for France. They were up 1-0 and we weren't really paying attention anymore because it didn't really look like Germany was going to win. Usually when I'm watching soccer my eyes are glued to the game, but I couldn't help but talk to Sean. He was really interesting. He talked slow and his voice was deep, but mellow. I loved the way his lips moved and how his eyes looked around as he expressed himself. We were simply talking about the France team and about the players, but he made it seem like the most interesting subject in the world.
"Why are you staring at me so intently?" He asked me.
"You're just so fascinating," I said.
He smiled and looked away from me. I gently lifted his chin and planted my lips on his. He moved his hand to the base of my neck and his other on my hip. My hand that was under his chin moved to his cheek as he moved closer to me. All kinds of feelings came over me that had been on my mind for awhile. I pulled away from the kiss and grabbed Ugo's hands. I can't believe I was about to do this.
"Sean," I bit my lip. "I love you."
Sean eyes widened slightly and his mouth twitched into a smile.
"I love you too," his eyes twinkled making me grin the widest grin. There we were, two idiots in love smiling on the couch.
I squeezed sean's hands before releasing them and getting uo to put our dishes away. Ugo followed behind me and after I put the dishes in the washer, I turned to face him.
"You know you didn't have to say it just because I did right?" I assured him.
"I know, I meant it." He said, "I really did."
"Okay. I did too."
He gave me a quick kiss and smacked my bum before he went to the living room. I smiled and shook my head before following him. We both sat on the couch and Ugo got on his phone. I did too and tweeted about the game.
'Excited for this game tonight at Nippert, amazing support we have.'
I pressed tweet and looked up at my boyfriend. "So do you want to go home before heading to Nippert today or..?" I asked Ugo.
"Yeah, if that's okay, I have a few things I need to take care of before leaving." He informed me.
"Okay we can leave around 2 just to give us enough time,"
He nodded and we went back to watching the game. France ended up winning 2-0 and we both cheered and high-fived each other. This means France would play Portugal in the final and that's who we were really rooting for, Portugal.
