Just Say You Won't Let Go

New home

My uncle pulled up to my new house in California. It was a total upgrade compared to where I used to live in Canada. My uncle took me under his wing after what happened with my parents.

When I got out of the car to see my new home all I could do was stare. The house was so huge and gorgeous. I've never seen anything like it before. A mansion with a mini pool surrounding the steps to the front door. A fountain on the grass. Just perfect.

My uncle Scott helped me grab my bags from the trunk. When we got in the house it was just as perfect. He brought my things to my room. My room was decorated in lights, lyrics, quotes, and black and white pictures. The most beautiful room I've ever been in. And to think that it's mine is insane.

"make yourself comfortable. Unpack your stuff and meet me downstairs when your done" He smiled and left.

I decided to change out of my airport clothes. I put on my black long sleeved crop top with my high waisted shorts. I left my dark brown hair down. I threw on some makeup to enhance my bright blue eyes. I threw on a thick gold choker and called it a day.

When I was done I went downstairs to find my uncle Scott. He was sitting in the kitchen with some guy around my age. I felt alittle awkward. Should I wait until he's done? Maybe he wants me to meet him. I have no idea... I stood there looking like an idiot until Uncle Scott noticed me and smiled.

"Perfect timing. Justin this is my niece Emerson. Emerson this is Justin" Scott introduced.

"Hi nice to meet you" i smiled. All I could do was stare at his beautiful hazel eyes. .. What the hell am I saying! I just met the guy. But he looks familiar.

"Hey" he grinned "nice to meet you too" he said. "Scott told me to keep my comments to myself but I have to say that you are stunning" he smirked.

"Thank you" I awkwardly smiled. I could get used to this.

"I was thinking maybe since you don't know anyone here. Or know how to get around that maybe justin would show you" Scott broke the silence.

"I would love too!" Justin chimed.

"Umm yeah sure" I smiled.

When we walked outside we went to Justin's car. Justin came around and opened the door for me. As we were driving around it was pretty silent. I attempted to break the silence but I had no idea what to say. He finally broke the silence and asked me about myself.

"Where's one place you would love to go. Anywhere in the world?" Justin asked

"I don't know. Maybe London. Most of my favorite books take place there." I said

"I've been to London before and it's pretty gorgeous out there. But i was pretty busy so I didn't get to do much of what I wanted, so I would definitely go back there" he responded.

We drove around for a bit and he gave me a tour of the mall, restaurants, grocery store etc. As we pulled back into my new development he asked.

"Hey, ugh I was wondering if maybe you wanna come to a party with me. I know it's sudden and we barley know eachother but I have no one to bring and it would be nice for you to meet new people." Justin begged.

At first I was hesitant, but he was right. The only person I know is Uncle Scott and now him. "Um sure. I'd love too" I smiled

"Great. Well it's tonight so be ready by like 7:30 8:00." He grinned as we pulled up to my new home.

"Okay. Thanks for showing me around" I smiled.

"Anytime" he smirked.

I am now having a heart attack because I just realized I have nothing to wear! I'm going to die. I have Three hours to get done. This should be interesting.
