UNEXPECTED (Taylor Lautner fan fiction)

CHAPTER 7

The only thing that dad told me was he was taking me camping, away from the beach. He told me that it would be warm during the days but cold in the night so I had about half of my wardrobe compacted into my bag! We packed tents and mattresses, sleeping bags and fishing rods and everything else that was needed on a camping trip.

Taylor's P.O.V:

Yes! I thought to myself. Dads taking me camping, I love camping. It will be good to have some bonding time with the old man. We packed all of our stuff and when I went to pack it into the car dad said leave it by the front door? That was strange, normally I put it straight into the car.

"Have you got everything?" Dad asked me

"Yeah, pretty sure"

"Alright, lock up the house we are leaving in a minute"

"But the car isn't even packed?"

"Shhh" he said "just lock up"

Emily P.O.V:

We were all ready to leave the house was all locked up and the car and trailer were packed. I went to get into the front seat but dad told me to sit in the back. I didn't argue with him because I didn't want to make him mad and spoil the weekend.

About 5 minutes into the drive dad pulled up in a driveway, at the front of the house I could see bags and camping gear.

"Dad what are we doing?" I asked him sternly

"Just get out and help me pack the car"

"Um, alright"

I got out and started loading the car, who's stuff was this? Maybe dad was just borrowing some camping gear. I could hear someone inside the house, then from the front door Taylor emerged.

In the car me and Taylor didn't say much, it was awkward between us after the kiss.

"Did you know about this?" I asked him

"Nope, I didn't know anything"

"Me either"

We both laughed and the awkwardness began to disappear.

Taylor P.O.V

I honestly can't believe they did this! But it wasn't too bad, spending a weekend with Emily, this might turn out pretty good.

We finally got to our campsite after a 5 hour drive, it small but not crowded and it was on a river. We unpacked the car and set up the tents, Trent (Emily's dad) and my dad had a tent to share and me and Emily had tents to ourselves, we unpacked all the mattresses and sleeping gear and then the firewood for the fire later.

Emily P.O.V:

We all sat by the fire admiring the stars, I was sitting in my chair freezing my ass off and realising it would be a long and cold night. I still couldn't take my eyes off Taylor, I imagined myself being curled up next to him, because I was day dreaming I didn't realise dad saying my name.

"Emily, Emily"

"Yeah Dad sorry, I was thinking"

Taylor laughed, he probably new what I was thinking about, by the way I was looking at him and I could tell he liked it.

"I'm going to go to sleep now" he said

"Me too" Tim followed

After they went to bed it was just me and Taylor left.

"It's freezing" I said

"I know!" He replied " and to make it worse I left me sleeping bad at home"

"Oh no"

"Yeah" Taylor mumbled

"Well I'm off to bed, it's been a tiring day"

"Yeah me too" he replied.

We walked together back to our tents because they were next to each other.

As I hopped in bed I couldn't help but feel sorry for him, he must be freezing.

Everything was so quiet and I couldn't sleep, I could her Taylor shivering in the tent next to me. I decided to be confident and hop in his tent.

Taylor P.O.V:

It was freezing! I couldn't get to sleep. I could hear Emily in the tent next to me.

Suddenly the zip on my tent began to open, I was confused and a little bit frightened but standing at the door of my tent was Emily, with her sleeping bad.

"I heard you shivering" she whispered

She knelt down and hoped on the mattress and put her sleeping bag over us. I could feel her warmth, I didn't know what to do, should I put my arm around her or not. I manned up and put my arm around her and she curled up to me putting her head on my chest.
