CHAPTER 6

Emily's P.O.V:
I loved waking up to the soothing sound of the waves crashing on the beach it was so peaceful, like I was still in a dream lying in the beach with the sun on my skin, but I then realised that I could hear the waves and the sun on my body was the sun shinning through my window onto my face. I suddenly woke realising what the time was, it was 12.0. How could I have slept in for so long? I didn't even go to bed late.

In the kitchen I made myself some toast and a cup of tea, as I was eating my toast I found a note on the table.
Em,
I have gone out fishing, I was going to
ask if you wanted to come but you were
still asleep. I left 150 dollars in the money
bowl in the office for you, spend it on whatever
you like,

From thinking about the beach I suddenly didn't have a pair of bathers, how stupid am I? Living at the beach with not a single pair of bathers, I decided I'de spend my day shopping for bathers

Taylor P.O.V:
I woke up early this morning had a shower at breakfast and when I finished had nothing to do, and I still have nothing to do, so I thought maybe I would go for a run to think about something's.

As I jogged along the beach I watched the waves crashing on the shore out of the corner of my eye, it was such a nice day. I sprinted into the water and had a refreshing swim. As I was walking out I thought I should cook dad dinner tonight as he has been working a lot lately.

Dad enjoyed his dinner I could tell by the expression on his face, but I could also tell by the cheeky smile on his face that he was thinking about something else.
"So Emily hey?" He asked me
We both laughed.
"Yeah, what about her" I asked
"You too seem to get along"
"Yeah we do"
"Mmm" and the cheeky expression on his face came back, I could tell he was up to no good.

Emily P.O.V:
It was dinner time and dad still wasn't home, I didn't want to eat without him so I waited. Whilst I was waiting for him to get back I decided I would call mum and tell her everything because at the moment I didn't really have any girlfriends to talk to.
"Hey mum"
"Hey sweetie, how are you?"
"I'm actually really good"
"That's good, I miss you. How's dad?"
"I miss you too, and dad has been great!"
"That's good"
I told mum about everything, I told her about my room, how nice the beach with, I told her about Taylor but I didn't mention the kiss, maybe I would tell her that another time.

"I'm home" a familiar voice called out
Dad was standing in the doorway with fish and chips in his hands
"I hope you haven't eaten" he yelled out
"I haven't, it smells delicious!" I yelled back
We ate on the balcony and we talked about what we did today, dad told me about all the fish he had caught and I told him how I forgot bathers so I used the 150 dollars to buy some bathers.
"Are you working this weekend?" I asked him
"Nope, actually I have got something planned for this weekend"
"Really! What is it?"
"It's a surprise"
He had a big cheesy grin on his face and I could tell something was up.
