(16) I'm grown

Shay's POV
"Thanks for an amazing night papii." Nique said while kissing my cheek. I got out of her car and  watched her drive off. I put my key into the key hole slowly turning it so I would get caught. I opened the door slowly and made sure the lights where still off. I closed the door and locked it. I took my shoes off and made my way to the couch. I sat down but on something hard. "So where tf where you?" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned on the light and saw Nya folding her arms. I sighed and shook my head. I got up and walked to the bathroom. She followed me and stood in the door way. "So you gonna answer me?" She asked. I looked at her and smiled. I slammed the door in her face. I can't take this yelling right now. "Well so you know Shay i came down her looking for you BECAUSE I wanted to lay next to you. I couldn't sleep and I wanted to talk, but no you just had to mess it up." I heard her make her way up the stairs and slam the door.

My phone started to vibrate and Nique's contact popped up.

Me: What do you want
I said with annoyance in my voice.

Nique: I just wanna know if your okay,you kinda left me hanging.

I rolled my eyes.

Me: Look what happened was a mistake ND it shouldn't have happened.

I hung up the phone and rolled my eyes. Let me tell yall what happened.

Nique called my phone talking about come outside. I put my shoes on and got inside of her car. She leaned over to kiss me but I dodged it. It was about 3 in the morning when she came to pick me up. We went riding around talking about old times and we almost kissed but Nya was really the only thing on my mind. I told her we couldn't do this and she was beyond mad she drove me home and kicked me, but before that she kissed me on my cheek.

Nya dead need to just talk to me like this is booty. "Nya come down here."  I yelled at the bottom of the stairs.  I heard the door open and saw Nya proceed down the stairs with her arms folded. She walked over to me and stared me in the face. "Baby we need to talk. " I said to her while trying to hold her. She pushed away from me and motioned for me to continue. "Look nothing happened with me and Nique I am -" She stopped me in mid sentence. "You left this damn house at 3 in the morning and it's now 5:30 am what the hell where you doing." Nya said very curiously and attitudish. I tried to reach out for her hand but she snatched away from me. "Nothing happened that kiss shouldn't have happened, I got caught in the moment baby and I'm sorry. "  I said hoping she wouldn't ask me any questions. "Why did you even meet up with her?" I looked away from her and rolled my eyes. I couldn't tell her. "Ex fucking actly. I hope this couch is comfortable.  Nya got up from the couch and rolled her eyes. She went upstairs and shut the door.

I adjusted myself on the couch and went to sleep. I deadass have to make this up to her.

Later that morning
I went out about 7 o'clock to set up this surprise day for Nya. I bought roses and dinner and breakfast.  For breakfast I cooked Nya bacon eggs sausage and pancakes.  I poured her a glass of water with cucumber and a glass of orange juice . I put a rose on the tray and took it upstairs.  I opened the door and sat the food on the dresser and woke her up. "Baby wake up please. I made you breakfast." She woke up and looked at me then the breakfast that was in my hand. She sat up and I placed it on her lap. "One rose Shay really?" She rolled her eyes ND continued to eat. I walked out the room and cleaned the kitchen.  I ran to the store to buy 4 dozen roses. I hopped in the car and drove off. 

"Your total will be $300.78."I  handed her the card and waited for my card back.  once I got the card I raced home. Once I made it back to the house I placed a dozen roses on the stairs and Trailed the rest to the kitchen table. I ran upstairs and grabbed her plate.  "You finished my yute." I asked her. She looked at me like I had four heads and then nodded. "My name is Shay and I'll be taking care of your every need. What can I get you." She smirked and said "some crab legs please." I nodded and turned away.
