Hug Me Tight

        I wake up around 6:30, squinting my eyes at the bright ass sunrise. JC is snoring and I can't help but laugh, sending a pain through my head. I Look at my phone. 3 text messages from Jenn. Well shit. 'Is that my shirt?' What? How did she know I'm wearing her shirt. Probably a photo. I look on ig but nothing. I look on sc and watch my story. Oh no. The caption makes it so obvious. I look on Twitter and my mentions are blowing up.

        All of tweets say something about jenndrea. I look at my wall and I posted Shawn mendes lyrics 'and I'm not tryna ruin your happiness, but darling don't you know I'm the only one for ya.' I read the next message from Jenn 'Should I come get you?' I looked pretty puffy-eyed in the photo, and she knew, as everyone did, alcohol and sadness didn't mix well. The last one read 'I hope you're safe have a good night' Well that was sweet I guess.

        I shake him awake to get us both off of the roof. I get down first and then comes him. He tells me he's going back to bed and I could have breakfast if I wanted. I thank him but decide to leave. He walks me to the door and hugs me for a few minutes. "Thank
you for coming to me, that means a lot. Jenndrea will happen, I promise" he lets go and I thank him for everything.

         On the way back home I stop at a dunkin donuts to treat my roommates. By the time I got home it was around 8:30. I switched into my normal white top.I knew Lauren would be awake because she's such a mom. I wiggle the door and unlock it.

          As soon as I walk in Lauren greets me with open arms. "Hey! Good to see you're still in one piece, that was some strong stuff! Oh, here's some pills and water for that hangover" a total mom. "Oh I brought donuts!" I semi-yell. Arden pops her head up from the couch and runs over to us. All of us had been making small talk. Then I hear footsteps down the stairs.

        Jenn pops her head around the corner. We make eye contact. "Hey I didn't expect you to be hear so early." She says reaching for a donut. "Yeah well me and JC fell asleep on the roof and the stupid sun woke us up" I snarl jokingly. "Now I seeee, nice Russett" Lauren winks. I look over at Jenn and I see something in her eyes. Something my eyes were filled with all last night. Jealously. Weird.
