Chapter 3

7:26 p.m.

So it's been 3 days since that incident happened and I'm chilling at home. It's been boring but much better. My aunt has called asking for my mom but I told her I didn't know.

If you're wondering what I did with the bodies, I chopped them up, put them in garbage bags, and dumped them in a river.

"Breaking news. Two indivisuals have been found in the Ohio River. Both were identified as a married couple, Ron and Raven Thompson. They were found chopped up in garbage bags on the shore of the river. No suspects have been found but be on the lookout. There is a killer on the loose.", said the news reporter.

I know I said I didn't care about going to jail but I lied. I'm too pretty to be in jail. I should have thought about this.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

I walk to the front door and look out the peep hole. I see two police officers.

"Hello officers.", I said as I opened the door

"Are you Torielle Thompson?", the male officer said

"Yes", I said

"Um we're here to do a search. We have a warrant miss", said the male officer

"Come right on in.", I said

I sat on the couch trying to act like I had nothing to hide but I became uncontrollably sweaty and I didn't want them to notice. I got up and started walking towards the bathroom.

"Where are you going miss?", said the male officer

"To the bathroom.", I said

"Ok but hurry. We'll have to bring you down to the station for questioning.", said the male officer

"Alright.", I said

I went to the bathroom and got the baby powder from under the sink in the cabinet and put it on my hands. I couldn't show any mercy. I had to be innocent.

I left out the restroom and they took me to the station.

"Right this way mam.", said a female detective

She led me down a long hall with grey walls. We went in the interrogation room and she began telling me about why I was here and yada yada yada.

She was asking me questions for 3 hours and I gave them nothing useful.

"When was the last time you saw Mrs. Thompson?", said Detective Lani

"3 days ago before she was headed to work.", I said

"And when was the latest time you saw Mr. Thompson?", she said

"3 days ago when he was leaving to bring my mom lunch for her lunchbreak at work.", I said

"So you mean to tell me you didn't have any contact with them after Mrs. Thompson went to work and after Mr. Thompson left to bring her lunch for her lunchbreak?",she said

"Yep. Sounds about right.", I said impatiently

"Ok well I'm sorry for your loss and when I get more used information I'll be sure to let you know.", she said

"Thank you and ok. And when do I get to leave?", I said

"Right about now.", she said

I don't have a lawyer because I don't have any money. MONEY. I forgot my mom had a safe with money it it. She had the code written on paper and hidden in her bra drawer. Yea stupid choice.

When I got home I went to the drawer and got the code and put it in the safe. There had to be at least a couple hundred thousand in there. She's been saving for years.

So she could get a yacht and leave me behind while she concord her dream. Bastard. Anyways I'm gonna go shopping and do what I want. Get my pamper on.

I'm just getting home and I've gotten a pedicure, manicure, an iPhone 6s plus, new car, clothes, shoes, and accessories. It's late now and I'm hungry.

I know this girl did something to my sister. Yes, of course I know they treated her bad but really? She's gone too far. I'm just gonna have to call the police.

Phone Convo

*RING RING RING*

"Bullander County Police Department. How my I help you?", said feminine voice

"Um I have some information on the recent murder of the Thompson's.", I said unsure

"Ok mam and what's your name?", said the woman

"Tammy Raine, Raven's sister... biologically.", I said

"Okay mam and what information do you have in regards to the murder that could be useful?", said the woman

And I told her everything I knew.

I know what you're thinking and yes I can have a pov while I'm dead and so can Ron. I'm just siting in front of the gates of heaven listening to what God says I have to do in order to be excepted into heaven.

"You have to visit you daughter and help through prison and don't came back until she's out of prison. Make sure you protect her and if you complete this mission you will be excepted into my kingdom. Understood?", said God

"Of course.", I said dryly

Just then I was sent to my daughter and I'm just watching her jump in MY money and I notice she's bought things. Oh what the hell I'm dead it's not like I can spend it.

I know she can't see me because I haven't made myself visible but I'm gonna have a little fun with this.

I'm so happy I remembered that damn safe. It's much better without them. I feel so alive. Just the. I hear the shower cut on. I don't believe in ghost but I think one is here because I'm the only one here right now.

I walk in the bathroom and the door shuts and the lights flicker on and off. While the steam on the mirror becomes visible, a message begins to appear.

'I'M HERE TO HELP YOU'

What the hell is that suppose to mean?
