Moving

Maya's POV
This was it. I have to tell my beautiful, brunette girlfriend, that I'm moving across the country.
Yep.
My mom got a job in Los Angeles, and they're giving us two week to move out and get there. Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy for my mom, but Riley.
I'm finally lucky enough to call her mine, and it's going to be ruined!!

As soon of the last bell rang, announcing school was over, I ran to Riley's locker.
"Hey Riles," I said, and closed her locker from behind. "Oh my god, Maya!"
"What?" I stepped back.
"You scared me!" She laughed and tried to catch her breath.
"Awww." Was all I could say. Her face belongs to a goddess (and she was super adorable when she was scared).
"Do you think you can come over today?" I asked. "Maya, your house still creeps me out sometimes." She said quietly.
"Well don't worry," I said against her neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist, "I'll be right there." I pulled away, remember the news I also had to spill.
"Please do that again." She said breathlessly.
"Please come over." I smirked.
"Fine." She laughed.

Riley and I had been lying on my bed in the same position for hours. Her head on my chest, one arm around her, my free hand running through her gorgeous locks, our legs intertwined. She drifted in and out of sleep a couple of times, but sounds outside would just wake her up.
"Babe..." I started, "I have to tell you something." She craned her neck to look up at me; I leaned up but kept her in my lap. "What is it? Is there something going on I don't know about?"
I could feel her heart beating faster by the minute. "No honey," I started tearing up (I promised myself I wouldn't cry!!), "I'm moving... far away..." I said slowly.
There was a long, haunting silence between us.
"Where?" Riley asked.
"Los Angeles." I said quietly. "Oh."
I looked down at Riley.
She was silently crying.
"Riles, honey, don't cry." I pulled her shaking body in as close as I could to mine.
"Why?"
"My mom got a job there. I'm so sorry I can't help it. If it were up to me I would keep you here in my arms forever." I began crying too.
"You can't leave me." Riley cried. "I'm sorry." I managed to get out. She held onto me as if I would disappear any moment.
Her crying became violent. "Babe, please." I said.
I leaned down and kissed her passionately. "Please don't cry. I'll come and visit and I'll text you and Skype and call you all the time. I promise I will only love you." She leaned up and kissed me again, over and over. Our lips begging for more.
At least she's not crying anymore.
"Maya, I love you more than words can explain." She said.
"I love you too." I replied with tears in my eyes.
