Criminal (Ashton Irwin)

Chapter Three

Its been about an hour since Ashton came into her house and he is still laughing at the wall. Lily stood awkwardly by him trying to figure how a white wall could be so funny. Finally he turned to her and smiled making Lily's heart jump slightly.

"I came to give you your phone but I just realized I lost your phone" He says flopping onto her couch. Well that's great Lily thought to herself. She just finished paying on a 600 dollar iPhone for nothing. She sat down on the leg of the couch since Ashton took up on the room. And unpaused the show. Not even this will stop her from watching teen wolf. She turned her head hearing light snores coming from him. He was clutching her pillow causing his muscles to pop out more.She looked down realizing she was checking him out again. He looked completely innocent right now incapable of causing danger she thought slowly drifting off.

Lily woke up to the sound of the birds chirping outside her window.She sat up realizing she was on her bed. "What the hell?" She fell asleep on the conch. Did Ashton move me? She shrugged off the thought. Like he would do that. Crap what time is it? She couldn't be late for work again. She screamed seeing the covers move.

"What the fuck?" Ashton peeked his head out from under the covers groaning. She couldn't believe it she just slept in the same bed as Ashton. "Why the fuck am I here?"

"Um I really don't know well I'm gonna go to work" Lily mumbled about to run out of the room. When he grabbed her wrist pulling her back.

"Did we fuck?" Ashton asked sitting up revealing his bear chest. Lily eyes trailed down his six pack quickly looking back into his eyes. Before he realized what she was doing.

"Wh- No" Lily yelled feeling her face turn red. "You came back drunk again" She mumbled trying to pull his hand away from her but his grip just tightened. "I have to get to work"

"Where do you work?"

"um a-well it's a um"

"If you don't tell me I'll still find out Lily "

"Blake's coffee shop" She says her eyes widening. How did he found out her name? She never told him.

"How old are you?" Lily almost rolled her eyes. What were they playing twenty questions?

"19 Look I really have to go" If she was late again she had a feeling Blake would definitely fire her.She couldn't lose this job it pays fairly well. And she had to said money to her mom every month to help pay for her medical bills and her rent. "If you're worried about me telling anyone about you I won't I promise" She looked into his hazel eyes she knew she should be scared of him but she wasn't. He looked away letting go of her wrist. She stumbled out of the bed quickly putting on her shoes. Her uniform was slightly wrinkled since she slept it but she didn't really care at the moment.

"You're fired" Blake said to Lily right as she ran inside. Sky stood behind him glaring up at him.

"Just give her one more-" Sky was interrupted by Blake.

"No I won't you're fired leave"

"No I can't lose my job please I can't I won't be late anymore I promise" Lily said tears threatening to slide down her face. Don't cry she thought.

"Get out" Lily ran out knowing if she stood there a second longer she would have started full on crying in front of him and she wouldn't give him that satisfaction.She ran as fast as she could to her house. She just wanted to lay down and bed and think about what she was going to do. Ashton better be gone she thought as she opened the door. She closed the door sitting down on the conch putting her face in her hands sobbing uncontrollably.

"What am I going to do?" She mumbled in between sobs. Her mom counted on her for the money for her medication without Lily she wouldn't be able to pay for it. She snapped her head up hearing someone clear their throat. Ashton stood there awkwardly messing with his hands. She scoffed at him rolling her eyes. She wiped her eyes with her sleeve and stood up walking passed him. He was the reason she was late. She couldn't deal with this right now.

"What did you just do?" Ashton said grabbing Lily by the waist making her face him.Her eyes widen in shock his eyes seemed hazel eyes seemed to turn cold. "Did you just fucking roll your eyes at me?" Lily just stood there looking passed him. She couldn't handle this right now she needed to go find a new job.

"I have to go" She says trying to pull away from him but that just made him bring her closer. So close she could practically hear his heartbeat. "Why can't you just leave me alone?" She screamed crying harder. "I'm sorry" She whispered realizing she just yelled at a criminal. "I'm sorry" She repeated covering her face with her hands.

"I didn't mean to yell at you" She heard Ashton say. She slowly moved her hands away from her face. "What happened?" He was watching her carefully like she was going to break. Lily hated the way he looked at her like she was a fragile piece of glass.

"It doesn't matter I have to go" But he didn't let go of her waist. He just stared at her blankly.

"You were crying" Ashton said as if she wasn't already aware of that. "So it does matter" She sighed looking at the clock behind him. She was wasting time. She could have been filling out job applications.

"I got fired for being late now I have to go-"

"So you need money?" Ashton said interrupting her. "How much?" He said letting go of her waist taking out his wallet.

"I'm not taking your money" Lily says scoffing. She didn't need his help. She is not some charity class. If she wants money shes going to earn it.

"Do you know who I am?" Is he proud of breaking the law or something?

"A criminal"

"A powerful Criminal who makes a lot of what?"

"I'm not taking your money I rather work"

"Then I'll give you a job"

"I'm not becoming a drug dealer" Lily says rolling her eyes. Plus she wasn't smart enough to be a drug dealer. She would get caught instantly.

"You're to innocent for that" Ashton says putting away his wallet.

"Look I'm good Now if you excuse me" Lily says trying to walk past him but he places a hand around her waist. To be honest Lily wasn't really used to this much body contact it made her slightly uncomfortable . "Um I can't really move if you're holding me"

"Fine lets go"

"Did you forgot your literally the most wanted criminal right now? Like if the police see you there going to kill you on sight." Ashton rolled his eyes and lets go of her waist walking into her room. What the heck? What is he going to do dress up like a girl?

"Why do you have guy sunglasses?" Ashton says walking back into the living room with a baseball cap on holding up a pair of black sunglasses. Lily forget she had those. Sky gave it to her for a birthday present claiming it would look good on her. It didn't by the way

"Present" He shrugs his shoulders putting them on. Of course he would like better in them then she did.
