Criminal (Ashton Irwin)

Chapter Six

  "Sky?" Lily asked clearly surprised that her best friend was on her porch. Lily looked over her shoulder wondering if Ashton was still there. Luckily his car was gone if it wasn't Skylar would be asking her a lot of freaking  questions.  

  "Guess what I did?" Her best friend said with a mischievous glint in her eyes causing Lily to groan. The last time Sky had that look she had set her ex's clothes on fire. (You don't want to know why) 

  "Am I going to have to hide you from the police?" Lily asked moving aside so Sky could walk in. Even if she did she didn't really mind. Whats the harm in hidding one more wanted criminal from the police? 

  "Not yet. But guess who poured hot coffee down Blake's shirt today?" Sky said pointing to herself. 

  "Sky you didn't" Lily said shaking her head. 

  "Asshole deserved it so when do we start job hunting?" Sky asked sitting down on the couch. Lily sat by her knowing she was going to have to tell her eventually. 

  "There's something I need to tell you" Lily said pulling nervously at the end of her shirt not knowing how Sky was going to react. 

  "You're pregnant aren't you? Oh my gosh are you going to name it after me? Causing you fucking should Sky's a great name" Lily's eyes widened completely taken aback. I mean she hasn't even  had for first kiss yet how would she be pregnant?

  "You might want to grab some popcorn" Lily said. Right when she said that Sky went running to the kitchen. Oh of course she would actually get some popcorn Lily thought laughing to herself.

  "So you're going to be getting eighty dollars an hour?" 

  "What?" Lily asked confused. She had just told Sky everything and this is the first thing she asks. 

  "Can you hook me up too? Shoot eighty dollars an hour I want to be in on that action too imagine how many french fries I can be" Sky said about to start drooling.  

  "I just told you that I hide a criminal in my house and this is the only thing you want to ask me?" Lily asked shocked. "He has killed people you know like with knives and stuff and sells drugs illegally what aren't you yelling at me for not calling the police? " 

  "He must not be that bad Lily You must have saw something in him if you didn't call the police you're not stupid and he hasn't killed you yet right?" 

  "Yeah" Lily mumbled getting lost in her own thoughts. Why didn't she call the police? He had gave  her several chances too. But to Lily he didn't seem that bad. She didn't feel in danger around him or unsafe. 

  "So is he hotter in real life?" Sky asked nudging Lily's shoulder. Lily widens her eyes at her. "Oh come on you know he looks hot on the news"

  "Well he isn't ugly" Lily said feeling weird about talking about him like he was just some cute guy who asked for her number.  

  "I'll let you have him" Sky said sighing dramatically. "I won't stand in the way of true love" 

  "Very funny Sky I just can't stop laughing" Lily said sarcastically as someone knocks on the door.  

  "Is that him? Do I try to look intimidating or  something shit let me borrow your red lipstick and leather jacket" Sky said about to run off to Lily room but Lily grabs her hand. 

  "What- No I don't know if he is going to kill me cause I told everything" Lily said nervously glancing at the door. 

  "I got this" Sky said walking to the door opening it. "Hey I'm Sky" She screams as she pulls him into the house closing the door. 

  "What the fu-"

  "Don't kill her"  Sky says pointing to Lily. Lily smacks herself as Ashton looks over at her. 

  "You told her didn't you?" 

  "Yup she did buddy so I hear your hiring maids for eighty bucks an hour" Sky says walking over to stand by Lily. "And I'm looking for a  job" 

  "Can I talk to you in private?" Ashton says grabbing Lily's arm. 

  "Hey what's taking so long?" Luke yells walking into the house. "I swear if I miss my- who are you?" Luke asked as Sky smiles excitedly.

  "Sky don't" Lily warned knowing that smile. 

  "Oh come on do you see his eyes how can I not?" Sky says. 

  "I'm right here?"  Luke says raising an eyebrow.

  "Oh sweetie I know" Sky says winking at him. Lily was about to say something but Ashton pulls her into her room closing the door. 

  "Didn't I tell you not to fucking tell anyone?" Ashton growls still gripping Lily's arm. 

  "She's my bestfriend I tell her everything" Lily says trying to speak as calmly as possible. Since Ashton looks like he wants to kill her. 

  "Does it look like I give a fuck?" 

  "Was that a rhetorical question or am I supposed to answer that?" Lily asked trying to pull away from Ashtons grasp. "She won't tell anyone"

  "How do you know that?"

  "Because I trust her" 

  "You seem like you trust fucking everyone you're like a fucking kid" Ashton yelled running a hand threw his hair sighing in frustration. Lily finally pulled away from his grasp backing away from him. She looked down at the floor trying to keep herself from crying. God she hates the sound of him yelling.  

  "She's not going to tell anyone trust me" Lily said her voice cracking slightly.  Ashton groaned mumbling something she couldn't hear. "What are you doing?" Lily asked as he starts walking closer to her. He pulls her into him sighing. 

  "Fine" He mumbles into her ear walking towards the door. 

  "What are you going?" She asked confused about what just happened. Was that a hug or was Lily going crazy. 

  "To offer your friend a fucking job"He mumbles causing Lily to break into a smile.
