Chapter 18

Clary's pov-

I'm beyond pissed right now. I'm furious. How could this happen. Let me explain what happened so you aren't confused.

------------two days prior------------

I walked into school with Jace by my side. I hadn't been feeling great. We had eaten at a sushi place the night before and I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning because of it.

I was wearing a big sweatshirt and my hair was a mess. Once I got to my locker the bell rung. I told Jace to go to his class so he kissed my forehead and told me to feel better.

As I was walking to class I felt nauseous so I ran to the bathroom. I barely made it to the stall before puking my guts out. I stood up and washed my hands and mouth before calling Jace. He was in class so I just left a voicemail.

"Hey Jace, I just threw up in the bathroom. We both expected it though so I will see you tomorrow hopefully my stomach will react better tomorrow morning. I love you. Talk to you later." I hung up and walked out to my car. Little did I know that Kailey was in one of the stalls listening.

The next day I was still at home sick and Jace being the amazing boyfriend that he is stayed home with me despite my protests.

-------------back to today------------

We went to school today and since it was a little chilly out I threw a sweatshirt over my crop top and jeans. We got weird looks walking in. I didn't know what to think of it so I just ignored it.

We were at my locker when Jessica, a girl I was kind of friends with, came up to us. "Hey guys, I just wanted to say that if you need help with your situation," she looked down to my stomach when she said that, "I'm here for you."

"What are you talking about?" I asked her. "Your pregnant, aren't you?" She said with a strange look. "Pregnant?!" Jace and I said at the same time.

"Oh, Kailey told everyone she overheard you leaving Jace a message about it in the bathroom on Monday." She said sheepishly. "That bitch!" I said through gritted teeth.

I turned and walking quickly up to Kailey. "You bitch!! I'm am most definitely NOT pregnant!!" I yelled causing everyone to stop and look at us. "Oh, well I heard you talking about it when you threw up in the bathroom on Monday!" She replied with a smirk.

"What you heard was me leaving Jace a message, saying that I had food poisoning, by the way no one eat at the sushi place by the mall, I told him I had thrown up like we had both been expecting to happen and that I hoped it would pass by the next day!! I'm NOT pregnant!!!" I said furiously.

"Oh, well I guess your just getting fat." She said with a smirk. I've had it with her. I quickly took of my sweatshirt to show my crop top that showed off my flat, toned stomach. "I'm skinnier than your bitchy ass!" I snapped at her.

She raise her hand a swung at my face, attempting to slap me. I caught her wrist and twisted I behind her back. I held her there enough so it hurt but didn't injure it. "Listen bitch, try to hit me again and I won't hesitate to rip your arm out of its socket." I said before throwing her forward and walking to class.

We went through the day and everyone stopped giving us looks because they now know the truth. All through the day I could tell something was bothering Jace. He wasn't making snarky comments and he was being really quiet.

When we got to his house we went up to his room. We were laying there and I was talking about how much of a bitch Kailey was. He was totally zoned out. "So I was thinking for dinner we order sushi from the place by the mall again." I said testing if he was listening. "Yeah sounds great." What?!

I rolled over and climb on top of him straddling his waist. "Ok, what's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing, why?" I gave him a look and he sighed.

"Would you really be that upset if you got pregnant with my child?" He asked. I looked at him like he was crazy. "Right now yes I would be, but in the future when we're older, there is no one else I can imagine having a baby with." I said before leaning down and kissing him.

"Want to practice?" He asked with a smirk. "Your so stupid." I replied before leaning down and kissing him again.

Honestly there is no one else's child I would even consider having.
