"When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like, Astronaut, President or in my case, a Princess. When we were ten, they asked again. We answered rock star, cowboy or in my case, a gold medalist. But now that we've grown up, they wanted a serious answer. Well, how about this - who the hell knows? This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, this is the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere. Fall in love – a lot. Major in Philosophy because there is no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind and change it again because nothing's permanent. So make as many mistakes as you can. That way someday when they asked what we wanna be, we won't have to guess – we'll know." Jessica finished her speech.
We all clapped and waited for our diplomas. I sat next to Jasper holding his hand. "You did it." He whispered into my ear. "I thought I was gonna go crazy." I whispered back. "Aren't you already crazy?" Edward whispered joining in.
"Shut up leech." I grin. "Okay leech." He grins back.
"Bella Swan." I clap and cheer for my cousin. "Don't fall don't fall." I heard Charlie chant quietly. I laugh "go Bella!" I call out.
"Emmett Culen." We all cheer for him.
"Jasper Hale." I cheer extra loud for him. "Go Jazz!" I call.
Soon enough my name was called
"Willow Halloway." I stood up and made my way across the stage. As I took my diploma I looked into the crowd. I saw the Cullen's and the Swans. I saw Dusty and Winter and her bitchy friend. I saw some of the tribe members. I saw Eva holding the babies with Carlisle.
I saw my family. No we are not all blood but we are still family. These people have been there for me longer than anyone biological had ever been.
I've never been better. "Thank you." I say to the principle and walk off the stage with my diploma in hand.
