"So how's L.A?" I ask Winter. She decided to come up and visit me. Her friend stayed back in L.A.
"Well pretty freaking shitty cause I'm not in L.A. I'm a vampire duh." She says.
"Oh right totally forgot." I sigh."You miss them don't you?" Winter asks. Looking away I play with my hands "Of course I do. They're my family and I'm nothing but a traitor in their eyes."
"Dude." Winter starts. "You called them out on their bullshit and they got pissed. Yeah you could've been a wee bit nicer. But so could they. They ain't shit sweet cheeks." She pats my shoulder.
"You know Aro more then they do. You fucking lived with the guy and you know the rules and everything. And your just afraid. It's for natural instinct, your human one. To be afraid and lash out but in reality deep down you care. They've been dead for centuries Willow, they've lost their human instinct you haven't. So while you lashed out in fear they lashed out because in whatever many years nobody has actually called them out and lived." Winter finishes.
"Who are you and what have you done with my twin?"
"Mommey look I paints a picture!!" Calla comes running in with scribbles and splashes of markers and nail polish paint all over a piece of paper I hoped I didn't need.
"Wow baby girl look how amazing that is! We need to hang this on our fridge. Cmon." I get up and walk over to where the "fridge" is.
The fridge it's legit an old burnt price of shit mini fridge from the early 2000's. Yeah..
Putting a piece of duck tape (which is all we have. I may or may not have stolen it from the Cullen's garage)
I tape the picture up and look down to see Calla with a the biggest grin on her face.
"Aunty Win Win! Come look at it." She calls for Winter."I'm coming kid calm your petals." Winter mutters as she walks in.
"Van gosh that's good for a kid, A+ Cal."
