chapter 1

~Bella's pov~

I seriously cannot think of a worse place to be then a school bus on a Monday morning. its 7:56 precisely and I'm currently surrounded by a bunch of idiots.

"Bella?" I was snapped out of my trance by none other than my best friend Natasha.

"what Nate?" don't question the name, she acquired it when we first met at the age of 7 and i thought she was a boy due to her horribly short hair. it was not a great look for her.

" I was wondering why you were being so quiet this morning. did something happen over the weekend?" Natasha started rambling. I shook my head.

"actually I was just thinking about what a liberty it is to have to be on this smelly bus at this time on a Monday morning, or any morning infact. it makes me feel quite sick thinking about it." I shivered.

"it could be worse, we could be walking" Natasha also sighed. to be honest I think even walking would be better than this. the only problem with walking is that I live too far away to do so every day just for school.

I just nodded in agreement with my best friend of almost 10 years.

arriving at school was almost the best feeling of my life. yet as I strutted into school with Natasha at my side I was sent flying as a boy collided into me.

I felt myself get hot and flustered as I was helped up by another unknown boy who soon became known.

"Mikey!" the boy who helped me up scolded the boy also on the floor. he had bright red hair and I now know him as Mikey. "I'm really sorry he bumped into you...?"

"Bella" I answered brushing myself down. the boy who helped me nodded.

"well I'm Ashton and the clumsy idiot is Michael" I turned to Michael and he didn't even say a word as he brushed himself down. when he looked up at me he just stared at me, looking into my eyes as I looked back into his.

suddenly he broke the eye contact and continued on the route he was on before bumping into me. "again I'm really sorry he did that. ill see you later Bella" Ashton said before turning and following Michaels trail.

"What was that Bella!?" Natasha exclaimed as we walked off down the corridor. I shrugged, nothing had happened right? he just bumped into to me and that was it.

"nothing, he just bumped into me then walked off" I said as I carried on walking.

"um, NO! that wasn't just nothing Isabella Jade Mathews! something happened with you and Michael!"

"if you say so" I laughed as we joined the rest of our group.

I gave my boyfriend Kane a kiss. "good morning baby" he said into our kiss. I pulled away smiling.

"why are you so happy this morning?" I said leaning into his chest. he wrapped his arms around me and shrugged.

"i just love seeing your gorgeous face every morning" he said kissing me on the cheek. I was probably never going to get over this, having my boyfriend and our friends around me for the rest of our school life. I blushed.

"i heard you had a fall this morning caused by that Michael freak!" I frowned and looked over at Natasha, she shrugged. how did he know, it literally happened 10 minutes ago.

"yeah, but don't call him a freak baby it was an accident. how do you know anyway? it only happened 10 minutes ago" I said

Kane shrugged. "oh I saw it when I walked past with Tom" this made me angry.

"you saw it happen but didn't think to come and help me up or check if I was okay, instead you let a complete stranger help me up and see if I was hurt?!" I pulled away from him. I was beyond pissed at him.

Kane avoided my eyes. this made me even angrier. "also Kane, how did you get to school this morning?" at this point I was fuming because I knew what he was going to say.

"i drove in my car" he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. that's when something inside me snapped.

"do you know how I got to school? I took the bus! and why? because the person who was supposed to give me a ride didn't turn up! do you know who that was? it was you Kane!" I exclaimed. there was no excuse he could give me for this.

"Tom needed a ride, I couldn't let him down" Kane said, trying to avoid my eyes at all costs.

"well maybe Tom should be your girlfriend then." was all I said before walking away, leaving Natasha, Kane and Tom's jaws on the floor in shock.

first chapter done! I didn't plan on publishing this yet but my wattpad seems to be messing up and unless pulished anything I write seems to get deleted. so here ya go!

I'm honestly so excited for this book. its a 5sos book but I haven't decided which boy it focuses on yet so give me suggestions.
