"What colors were you thinking of painting the nursery?" Kat asks as we look around for colors

"I'm not sure, but I know I want neutral colors, no pink or blue" I say shaking my head

"Why no pink or blue?" Kat asks pouting and points to a cute cotton candy pink

"Because I'm not sure if it's going to be a boy or girl, and whatever gender I don't want him/her to grow up in the stereotypical pink or blue" I answer looking at a cute honey yellow

"Oh that's true" Kat nods "I should probably repaint Kyle's nursery then"

"I was thinking maybe having the two main colors be like a cute olive green and like a creame white, like an off white?" I question looking at Kat

"I can actually envision that and it's cute as fuck" Kat says grinning

"Yay!" I cheer and start to look for the right colors

"We're are we going now?" Kat asks buckling her seat belt

"We're going to see if I'm getting one or two cribs, maybe even more" I smile pulling out of the parking space

"Awh! Watch you're having twins" Kat jokes laughing

"That'd be a lot of work, imagine having a boy and a girl!" I grin

"I say your going to have twins" Kat nods

"You know your not a doctor" I laugh pulling into the doctors office

"I'm just really honored you had me come with" she pretends to cry

"Drama queen" I joke rolling my eyes as I get out

After filling out the paper work a nurse leads us into the room and we wait for my doctor, I sit up on the bed thing while Kat sits on the chair next to me

"Why isn't Derek here?" Kat questions

"I didn't tell him I had an appointment" I shrug

"Bad move" she cringes

"Why?" I ask laughing

"Don't you think he would want to be here? I would" she adds shaking her head

"Should I FaceTime him or actually have him come over here?" I ask

"FaceTime him" she shrugs

I pull out my phone and go onto his contact clicking the camera icon, it rings for a second and he answers with a huge smile on his face

"Hey princess" he says smiling harder

"Hey Derek, I'm at my doctors appointment right now " I say with a little smile

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know you had an appointment, I would've came with you" he says scratching the back of his neck

"Oh no! Sorry I never told you, I didn't think you would want to come" I mumble

"Well of course I want to be there, and maybe even Nate" he adds the last part quietly

"So you would be ok with Nate coming with us to my next appointment?" I ask raising my eyebrows

"Well yah, Nate is the kids father. I mean you are going to be co parenting with him right?" He questions

"Well yah" I mumble

"We'll make it work" he says smiling

"We will" I nod

"See you later, princess" he says grinning
